POLITICSԱԱԾ տնօրենի պաշտոնում իմ նշանակումը սովորական հերթական նշանակումը չէր: Երկրում տեղի էին ունեցել մեծ փոփոխություններ, այն ժամանակ հեղափոխություն էին ասում, հիմա հասկանում ենք, որ հեղաշրջում էր: Ես այն ժամանակ դարձա ԱԱԾ առաջին տնօրենը:
Մեր բնակչության շրջանում մի կարծրատիպ կար, որ մեզ նույնականացնում էին նախկին հին, վատ բարքերի, ԿԳԲ և այլնի հետ: Կար խնդիր այդ կարծրատիպը կոտրելու, որպեսզի մարդիկ սկսեին վստահել մեր ծառայությանը, մեր մեջ տեսնեին ոչ թե սպառնալիք, այլ վստահություն ու մարդկանց, ովքեր կանգնած են իրենց հայրենիքի, ժողովրդի պաշտպանությանը: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը հայտարարեց Արթուր Վանեցյանը:
Վանեցյանի խոսքերով, շատ կարճ ժամանակում ԱԱԾ-ն դարձավ ամենահեղինակավոր կառույցներից մեկը. «Փորձել ենք ամեն ինչ անել, որպեսզի երկիրը կայունանա»:
«2019 թվականի դեպքերին իմ հրաժարականի դիմումի մեջ ես փորձել եմ հասկանալի կերպով ներկայացնել պատճառները, որոնք դրդեցին իմ հրաժարականին: Այն կանխատեսումները, որոնք կային հրաժարականի տեքստում, ցավոք իրականություն դարձան»,-ասաց նա:
Վանեցյանը նաև խոսեց 3 տարվա մեջ ԱԱԾ 5 տնօրեն փոխելու մասին՝ նշելով, որ այդտեղ կարելի է նաև միտում տեսնել, քանի որ ԱԱԾ տնօրենի փոփոխությունն այդքան հաճախ չի լինում, իսկ եթե փոփոխություն է լինում, պետք է հստակ նշել պատճառները. «Իմ ու Միքայել Համբարձումյանի մասով մենք ներկայացրել ենք պատճառները: Այս իշխանությունները, փորձելով թուլացնել ԱԱԾ-ն, փորձել են թուլացնել պետության հիմքերը»:
