Հայ պաշտոնյաներից շատերն ազատ ժամանակ սիրում են գնալ որսի, մյուսը մասը սեփական տանը փոքրիկ գազանանոց ունի, իսկ ոմանք էլ կենդանիների փոխարեն նախընտրում են իրենց առանձնատներում տեղադրել կենդանիների արձանները։

ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը թե որքանով է սիրում գազաններին, չենք կարող ասել, սակայն հայտնի է, որ նա որսի մեծ սիրահար է: Համացանցում պարբերաբար հայտնվում են Քոչարյանի՝ որսի վայրից արված լուսանկարները.
ԱԺ պատգամավոր, Գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Մանվել Գրիգորյանն իր առանձնատանը կենդանիներ է պահում: Ինչպես իր կինն է ասել հարցազրույցներից մեկում՝ ամուսնու ամենախոշոր կենդանին արջն է։ Ըստ լուրերի, Մանվել Գրիգորյանը իր մասնավոր գազանանոցում առյուծներ, վագրեր, արջեր և տարբեր տեսակի վայրի թռչուններ է պահում:

ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի եղբոր դուստրը՝ Երևանի ավագանու անդամ Իրինա Քոչարյանը ևս գիշատիչ կենդանիների սիրահար է: Նա լուսանկարներ ունի վագրի հետ:
ԱԺ պատգամավոր Մհեր Սեդրակյանն էլ, ըստ շրջանառվող լուրերի, տանն առյուծներ է պահում։
ԱԺ պատգամավոր Լյովա Խաչատրյանն էլ ավանակների սիրահար է: Նա իր տան բակում տեղադրել է ավանակի արձան: Ըստ նրա` ավանակը աշխատասեր, ազնիվ կենդանի է, որը մեծ լումա ունի:
