Ամանորին հաշված օրեր են մնացել, եւ ողջ աշխարհը պատրաստվում է այս գեղեցիկ տոնին։ Սակայն յուրաքանչյուր երկիր Ամանորը տոնելու իր ավանդույթներն ունի։ Past.am-ը ներկայացնում է երկրներ, որոնք ունեն Ամանորը դիմավորելու իրենց սովորույթը։ Իսպանիայում Ամանորը շատ վառ են նշում, նախապես զարդարում են տները, փողոցներն ու խանութների ցուցափեղկերը ծաղիկերով ու շղթաներով։ Տարվա այդ եղանակին Իսպանիայում բավական տաք է։ Հիմնական գործողությունները միշտ տեղի են ունենում քաղաքի գլխավոր հրապարակում։ Տոնակատարության բացում կարելի է համարել ամանորյա ավանդական պարահանդեսը, որին մեծերի հետ միասին մասնակցում են նաեւ երեխաները։
Ավանդույթի համաձայն՝ Ամանորի գալուն պես իսպանացիները դուրս են գալիս փողոց, որպեսզի աշտարակի ժամացույցի յուրաքանչյուր ղողանջի հետ ուտեն մեկական խաղողահատիկ՝ միաժամանակ ցանկություն պահելով։ Այդ ամենը ուղեկցվում է ճոխ հրավառությամբ։
Գերմանիան Ամանորը տոնելու իր ավանդույթներն ունի։ Հենց որ սլաքները սկսում են կեսգիշերն ազդարարել, տարբեր տարիքի մարդիկ բարձրանում են սեղանների, աթոռների, բազկաթոռների վրա եւ ուրախ բացականչություններով, ժամացույցի վերջին զարկի հետ “ցատկում” Նոր տարի:
Անգլիայի բնակիչները կեսգիշերին` ժամացույցի վերջին զարկերի հետ, բացում են տան հետնամուտքի դռները` հին տարին դուրս բերելու համար, եւ բացում են մուտքի դուռը` նոր տարին ներս թողնելու համար: Երեխաները քնելուց առաջ Սանտա Կլաուսի նվերների համար ափսե են դնում, իսկ կոշիկի մեջ խոտ` նրա ավանակի համար:
Իտալիայում Նոր տարին սկսվում է հունվարի 1-ին։ Իտալացի բոլոր երեխաներն անհամբերությամբ սպասում են բարի փերի Բեֆանային։ Նա գիշերով թռչում գալիս է՝ կախարդական ավելին նստած, բացում դռները փոքրիկ ոսկե բանալիով եւ, մտնելով երեխաների ննջարանները, նվերները լցնում է բուխարու մոտ հատուկ կախած մանկական գուլպաները։ Նրանց, ովքեր վատ են սովորել կամ չարաճճիություն արել, Բեֆանան թողնում է մի պտղունց մոխիր կամ ածխի կտոր։ Իսկ իտալական Ձմեռ պապը Բաբբո Նատալեն է։ Իտալիայում համարվում է, որ Նոր տարին պետք է սկսել ամեն տեսակի հին իրերից ազատվելով։ Հետեւաբար, ամանորյա գիշերն ընդունված է պատուհաններից դուրս նետել հին իրերը։ Պետք է զգույշ լինել, եթե ուզում ես, որ գլխիդ արդուկ կամ ծղոտե աթոռ չընկնիՀամարվում է, որ ազատված տեղը անպայման կզբաղեցնեն նոր իրեր։ Իտալացիների ամանորյա սեղանին անպայման մատուցվում է ընկույզ, ոսպ եւ խաղող՝ երկարակեցության, առողջության ու բարօրության խորհրդանիշերը։ Հունվարի 1-ի վաղ առավոտյան Իտալիայի գյուղերում աղբյուրից “նոր ջուր” են տուն բերում։ Այն, ըստ ավանդույթի, երջանկություն է բերում տուն։
