Մարդինում հայկական եկեղեցին մնացել է առանց համայնքի․ այնտեղ այժմ միայն մեկ հայ է աղոթում
SOCIETYԹուրքիայում Մարդինի նահանգի Դերիքի շրջանում 1650 թվականին կառուցված Սուրբ Գևորգ հայկական եկեղեցին մնացել է առանց համայնքի։ Եկեղեցու միակ այցելուն շրջանում մնացած վերջին հայերից Զեքերիյա Սաբունջին է, իսկ այն մաքրում և խնամում են մուսուլման կանայք։ Այս մասին գրում է Ամերիկայի ձայնի թուրքական ծառայությունը։
Եկեղեցու հարևանությամբ բնակվող Նեջլա Փիրսին, ով հետևում է եկեղեցուն, նշել է, որ այն նախկինում լեփ-լեցուն էր լինում, սակայն այժմ իրենց բոլոր հայ հարևանները հեռացել են։
«Երբ Դերիք արձակուրդի եկող է լինում, այցելում է եղեղեցի»,-շեշտել է Փիրսին։
Դերիքի շրջանում ապրող վերջին հայերից Զեքերիյա Սաբունջին այժմ եկեղեցի այցելող և աղոթք անող միակ հայն է։ Սաբունչին Ամերիկայի ձայնի հետ զրույցում նշել է, որ տարիներ առաջ շրջանում 7 եկեղեցի է եղել, իսկ այժմ միայն մեկն է մնացել։
Նրա խոսքով, եկեղեցիները դարձել են տուն, մզկիթ, բանտ, դպրոց, որոշները վերածվել են ավերակի, սակայն դրանց տեղերն այժմ էլ հայտնի են։ Սաբունչին հիշել է, որ Սուրբ Գևորգ հայկական եկեղեցին ժամանակին համայնքը գումարով է գնել, քանի որ 1915 թվականի դեպքերից հետո այն պետականացված է եղել։
Դերիքի շրջանի Քալեի թաղամասում գտնվող Սուրբ Գևորգ եկեղեցին կառուցվել է 1650 թվականին։ Եկեղեցին 1915 թվականին հայերի ցեղասպանությունից հետո հանձնվել է պետական գանձարանին և տարիներ շարունակ օգտագործվել է այլ նպատակներով։ Շրջանում հայերի թվի մեծացմանը զուգահեռ 1957 թվականին այն վաճառվել է հայկական համայնքին։
