Երևի նկատած կլինեք, որ վերջերս թե սովորական մարդկանց, թե աստղերի ձեռքին հանկարծ թանկարժեք ադամանդե զարդերի կողքին հասարակ, կարմիր թել է հայտնվում։ Եվ իրոք, այս թելը վերջրես խիստ մոդայիկ է դարձել, այն անգամ համացանցում են վաճառում, գրում են, թե Երուսաղեմից է բերվել, օրհնված է և այլն։

Ինչ է նշանակում այս տարօրինակ թալիսմանը։

Պարզվում է, ամենասկզբում կարմիր թելը եղել է կաբբալիստական թալիսման, որը ճիշտ կապելու դեպքում պաշտպանում էր չար աչքից, անեծքից, ազատում էր վատ մտքերից։ Հայտնի երգչուհի Մադոննան առաջիններից էր, ով նման թել կապեց ձեռքին։Հետո կամաց-կամաց այս սովորությունը տարածվեց։ Ինչու են կարմիր թելը դաստակին կապում. Կաբբալիստների սովորույթներով՝ թելը կապում են ձախ դաստակին, քանի որ մարմնի ձախ կողմը ընդունում է բացական էմոցիաները։

Հոգեբանները գտնում են, որ սովորական կարմիր թելը, ոչ Իսրայելից բերած, նույնպես կարող է պաշտպանել։ Ընդունված է կարծել, որ իսկական կարմիր թելը պետք է բրդյա լինի, կապեր չունենա, գնված լինի փողով ու մտերիմ մարդու կողմից կապված լինի, ով անկեղծորեն բարին է կամենում տվյալ մարդուն։

Կաբբալիստները կարծում են, որ թելը պարբերաբար պետք է փոխել՝ ցանկալի է 7 օրը մեկ, քանի որ այդ ընթացքում թելը շրջակա բացասական էներգիան է վերցնում իր վրա։Ոմանք էլ, սակայն, կարծում են, որ այն չպետք է ձեռքից հանի։ Թելը պետք է ինքն իրեն կորչի՝ իբրև նշան, որ մարդը լուրջ վտանգից է ազատվել։ Սակայն իրականում պետք է հիշել, որ ամեն տեսակի թալիսմաններն ու կարմիր թելերն ընդամենը սնահավատություն են, և մարդուն կարող է պատշպանել միայն հավատն Աստծո հանդեպ։
