Ծնողները հաճախ, իրենք էլ դա չնկատելով, սխալներ են գործում երեխաների դաստիարակության հարցում։ Թիմ Էլբորը պատմել է ծնողների 7 սխալների մասին, որոնք խանգարում են երեխաներին դառնալ լիդերներ։ Ծնողները շատ ջանք ու էներգիա են վատնում նրա վրա, որ իրենց երեխաներն ունենան ամենալավը։ Ցավոք սրտի, երեխաների նկատմամբ չափից դուրս սերն ու հոգատարությունը հաճախ խոչընդոտում են նրանում ինքնուրույնության, պատասխանատվության և լիդերի ունակությունների զարգացմանը։ 

Այս խնդիրը մանրամասնորեն ուսումնասիրել է Թիմ Էլմորը՝ առաջնորդության փորձագետ և  բազմաթիվ բեստսելերների հեղինակ։ 

Այսպիսով, Թիմ Էլմորը  պատմել է՝ ինչ 7 սխալներ են գործում ծնողները։ 

1. Ծնողները թույլ չեն տալիս երեխաներին ռիսկի դիմել։

2. Ծնողները չափազանց արագ են օգնության հասնում։

3. Ծնողները չափից շատ են հիանում ու հպարտանում իրենց երեխաներով։

4. Մեղքի զգացողությունը խանգարում է ծնողներին ճիշտ դաստիարակել երեխաներին։

5. Ծնողները չեն կիսվում իրենց սխալներով երեխաների հետ։ 

6. Ծնողները շփոթում են կարողություններն ու տաղանդը հասունության հետ։ 

7. Ծնողները օրինակ չեն ծառայում իրենց երեխաների համար։ 

Ինչո՞ւ են ծնողները այս սխալները գործում։ 

Թիմ Էլմորը կարծում է, որ ծնողները շրջապատում են իրենց երեխաներին չափից դուրս շատ սիրով՝ վախի պատճառով։ Ինչպես նաև շատերը չեն գիտակցում՝ որքան կարևոր է իրենց դերը երեխաների դաստիարակման գործում։ Նաև նրանցք փորձում են տալ իրենեց երեխաներին այն, ինչի պակասը հենց իրենք են ունեցել մանուկ ժամանակ։ Հանց այդ է պատճառը, որ շատ ժամանակակից ծնողներ ապրում են այս օրով ու չեն մտածում ապագայի մասին, քանի որ իրենց ծնողները՝ արդեն պապիկ ու տատիկ, հոգում էին միայն վաղվա օրվա մասին։ Նրանք խնայողություններ էին անում, անտեղի չէին վատնում գումարը ու պատրաստվում էին թոշակի գնալուն։ 

Լավագույն արդյունքներին հասնում են այն ծնողները, որոնք ոչ միայն մտածում  են վաղվա օրվա մասին, այլ նաև հաճույք են ստանում այսօրվա օրից։ 

Ինչպե՞ս երեխաների մեջ զարգացնել լիդերի ունակություններ։

  1. Պատմեք նրանց այն խնդիրների մասին, որոնց բախվել եք մեծ տարիքում, բայց կխուսափեիք դրանցից, եթե մանուկ հասակում իմանիք դրանց մասին։ 
  2. Թույլ տվեք նրանց ունենալ անհաջողություններ։ 
  3. Քննարկեք նրանց հետ սխալների հետևանքները՝ նրանց մեջ պատասխանատվության զգացողություն առաջացնելու համար։ 
  4. Օգնեք նրանց հասկանալ՝ բնավորության որ գծերն ու ինչ հմտություններ են պետք՝ իրական աշխարհի խնդիրները հաղթահարելու համար։ 
  5. Զբաղեցրեք երեխաներին այնպիսի բանով, ինչի համար համբերություն է պետք՝ սպասել սովորեցնելու համար։ 
  6. Բացատրեք նրանց, որ կյանքում միշտ պետք է կոմպրոմիսի գնալ ու ընտրություն կատարել։ Նրանք ամեն ինչի չեն կարող հասնել։ 
  7. Երեխաներին մեծերի գործի դրեք, օրինակ կոմունալների վճարումը։ 
  8. Ծանոթացրեք երեխաներին Ձեր շրջապատի այն մարդկանց հետ, ովքեր արժանի են ընդօրինակման։ 
  9. Օգնեք նրանց կյանքի նպատակներ կայացնել, իսկ հետո քննարկեք միջոցները՝ դրանց հասնելու։ 
  10. Խրախուսեք նրանց ինքնուրույնույան ու պատասխանատվության ձգտումը։
