Շուրջ 6 օր անց հրապարակած հայտարարությունից Ադրբեջանը Հայաստանին վերադարձրեց 32 ռազմագերիների։ Դեկտեմբերի 7-ին Հայաստանի վարչապետի աշխատակազմն Ադրբեջանի նախագահի վարչակազմը համատեղ հայտարարություն են տարածել՝ նշելով, որ որպես բարի կամքի դրսևորում Ադրբեջանն ազատ է արձակում 32 հայ ռազմագերիների, իսկ Հայաստանը՝ 2 ադրբեջանցի զինծառայողների։
Թեև անուններն ի սկզբանե չէին նշում, սակայն ակնհայտ էր, որ խոսքն Ագշին Բաբիրովի և Հուսեին Ախունդովի մասին է։ Ախունդովը ցմահ ազատազրկման էր դատապարտվել Զանգեզուրի պղնձամոլիբդենային կոմբինատի պահնորդի սպանության համար և այժմ, ընդամենն ամիսներ անց հայկական կողմը նրան վերադարձնում է Ադրբեջանին, որտեղ նա, իհարկե, որևէ պատիժ էլ չի կրելու։ Փոխարենը, միայն 6 օր անց լուրջ հոգեբանական տրավմայի ենթարկելով հայ հանրությանը, Ադրբեջանը բարեհաճել է վերադարձնել 32 հայ ռազմագերիներին։
Երեկ երեկոյան նրանց տեղափոխել են Մուրացանի կենտրոնական հոսպիտալ, բուժզննումից հետո, թույլատրել են վերադառնալ իրենց տները։ Ռազմագերիների մեծ մասը Շիրակի մարզի բնակիչներ են, որոնք գերեվարվել էին 2020 թվականի դեկտեմբերին, Հադրութի Հին թաղեր և Խծաբերդ գյուղերի մերձակայքում։ Երեք տարի ադրբեջանական գերեվարության մեջ անցկացրած մարդիկ երեկ ժամեր շարունակ նաև ստիպված էին սթրեսի ենթարկվել հոսպիտալում։ Մինչ նրանց հարազատները հավաքվել էին հիվանդանոցի դիմաց և պահանջում էին թույլ տալ տեսնել իրենց հարազատներին, երբեմն-երբենմ նույնիսկ քաշքշուկներ էին տեղի ունենում ոստիկանների և ազատվածների հարազատների միջև։
Ըստ էության, նույնիսկ հասարակ մի հարց գործող իշխանությունները չեն կարողացել նորմալ կազմակերպել և սթրեսի են ենթարկում մի քանի հարյուր մարդկանց, որոնք առանց այն էլ 3 տարի անցել են դժոխքի միջով՝ իմանալով, որ իրենց հարազատները գտնվում են ադրբեջանական գերության մեջ։
