Եվրամիության խորհրդի նախագահ Շառլ Միշելը հայտարարել է բրյուսելյան ձևավաչափով բանակցությունների վերսկսման մասին։ Թեև կոնկրետ ժամկետ չի նշվում, սակայն «Ազատության»՝ ադրբեջանական ծառայության տված հարցազրույցից կարելի է ենթադրել, որ փորձում են մինչև դեկտեմբերի վերջ խաղաղության ինչ-որ պայմանագիր կամ փաստաթուղթ պարտադրել հայկական կողմին։

Միշելի մի շարք հայտարարություններ չափազանց վտանգավոր են և ապացուցում են, որ Հայաստանի իշխանություններն առանձնապես ամբողջությամբ սպասարկում են ադրբեջանական օրակարգը։ Միշելը, օրինակ, հայտարարել էր, թե էթնիկ հայերի Ղարաբաղի շրջան վերադառնալու, կամ գոնե այնտեղ այցելելու իրավունքները պետք է երաշխավորվեն։ Ի՞նչ այցելելու իրավունքի մասին է խոսում Եվրամիության խորհրդի նախագահը։ Հազարավոր տարիներ Արցախում բնակված մարդկանց և նրանց հետնորդներին ընդամենն իրենց պապենական ծննդավայր այցելելու թույլտվություն են ուզում տալ։ Ընդսմին Միշելը կրկին պնդում է, որ ողջ բանակցային պրոցեսում ամենաառանցքային խնդիրը Հայաստանի տարածքային ամբողջականությանը հարգելն է։ Եթե իսկապես ստույգ լինենք, բանավեճ կա, Ադրբեջանը Նախիջևանին կապելու կոնկրետ եղանակների շուրջ, համոզվելու, որ նրանք հարգում են Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանությունը և օրենսդրությունը։ Ըստ էության, եվրապաշտոնյան չի հերքում, որ Ադրբեջանը նկրտումներ ունի Սյունիքի մարզի նկատմամբ, առավել ևս ցանկանում է պոկել այսպես կոչված Զանգեզուրի միջանցքը, իսկ Արևմուտքը բանակցություններից և հրապարակային հայտարարություններից այն կողմ չի անցնում։
