Նորաթուխ ծնողներ Մելիսսան և Սայմոնը կորցրել էին իրենց երջանկությունից, երբ լույս աշխարհ էր եկել փոքրիկ Վիկտորիան: Բայց նրանք չէին էլ կարող պատկերացնել, որ մի քանի ժամ հետո իրենց կյանքն իսկական դժոխքի է վերածվելու. Փոքրիկին գողացել են հենց ծննդատնից:
Մի կին բուժքույր է ձևացել և ասել է, որ փոքրիկին պետք է պրոցեդուրաների տանի, և վերցնելով աղջկան՝ գնացել է անհայտ ուղղությամբ: Բարեբախտաբար, նրա դեմքը պահպանված է եղել անվտանգության տեսախցիկներում:
Առանց րոպե կորցնելու՝ ոստիկանության աշխատակիցները տարածել են փոքրիկի միակ լուսանկարը, իսկ աղջկա հայրիկը նկարներ է հրապարակել համացանցում՝ հույս ունենալով, որ ինչ-որ մեկը տեսած կլինի փոքրիկին կամ կնոջը, և կիմանա, թե որտեղ է նա գտնվում:
Չորս երիտասարդներ որոշեցին օգնել փոքրիկ Վիկտորիայի որոնման աշխատանքներին: Տղաները շրջում էին ողջ թաղամասով և ցույց էին տալիս առևանգող կնոջ լուսանկարը՝ ցանկանալով պարզել, արդյոք ինչ-որ մեկը տեսել է նրան:
Նրանք ապշեցին, երբ հարցվածներից մեկը նկարի մեջ ճանաչեց իր հարևանուհուն:
Երիտասարդներն անմիջապես ոստիկանություն զանգահարեցին և հայտնեցին առևանգողի հասցեն:
Եվ հենց այդ երեկո երեխային վերադարձրեցին ծնողներին:
