Հետազոտության ընթացքում գիտաշխատողները պարզել են, որ ինքնաներշնչումը և մարդու կամքը ազդում են օրգանիզմի ընդհանուր վիճակի վրա և նույնիսկ օգնում են նիհարել:
ԱՄՆ-ի Winona State University համալսարանի փորձագետները հայտնել են, որ գեղեցիկ սեռի ներկայացուցիչները, ովքեր համարում են, որ իրենց հաջողվում է ազատվել ավելորդ քաշից, իրոք նիհարում են մնացածներից ավելի արագ, հայտնում է WordYou.ru-ն:
Փորձի ընթացքում ընտրել են 120 կամավորների` տարբեր տարիքի և ճարպակալման տարբեր աստիճաններով: Մասնակիցներին բաժանել են երեք խմբի և տվել տարբեր առաջադրանքներ:
Առաջին խմբի մասնակիցները ջանացել են պահպանել ճիշտ սննդակարգ: Երկրորդ խմբի մասնակիցները, բացի ուտելիքի սահմանափակումից, ամեն օր իրենց ներշնչել են, որ նիհարում են, դա ասել են բարձրաձայն` պահպանելով դրական էմոցիաներ: Երրորդ խումբը մնացել է որպես ստուգողական:
Պարզվել է, որ ավելի արագ նիհարել են երկրորդ խմբի մասնակիցները, քանի որ կարողացել են ամբողջ էությամբ դրականորեն տրամադրվել արդյունքին:
