1988-ի ԱՐՑԱԽՅԱՆ ՇԱՐԺՄԱՆ 33-րդ տարեդարձն է, շարժում, որն սկսեց հայկական լեռնաշխարհում հայի ինքնության պահպանման, հայկական հետքի վերահաստատման, շարունակական գոյության ամրապնդման և սեփական հողում ապրելու իրավունքի իրացման համար, ԱԶԳԱՅԻՆ ԱՐԺԱՆԱՊԱՏՎՈՒԹՅԱՆ ՇԱՐԺՈՒՄ, որն ազատեց հայ ժողովրդին ցեղասպանված լինելու բարդույթից, բայց․․․

Հիմա այդ արժանապատվությունը ոտնահարված է, ազգային ոգին՝ նսեմացված, իսկ հոգին՝ խոցված։ Նույնիսկ այս պարագայում սա դեռ վերջը չէ, այնքան ժամանակ, քանի դեռ ժողովրդի՝ վերաձևավորվող հասարակության մեջ ինքնության պահպանման և գոյության իրավունքի գիտակցումը կա՝ նվազ, սակայն ընդգծված ու տարածվելու միտում ունեցող հստակ ազդակներով, ես դա տեսնում եմ "անհատների" ու "խմբերի" մոտ, որոնք "հետնաբեմում" շատ կոնկրետ աշխատանք են տանում ազգային վերածննդի ուղղությամբ։
Արցախյան ազատագրական շարժումը հայ ժողովրդի ինքնապահպանման և ապրելու իրավունքն է, այն ոչ ոք չի կարող խլել՝ ո՛չ ներքին, ո՛չ էլ արտաքին թշնամին․․․
