Քաղաքական-հասարակական գործիչ, «Համախմբում» շարժման խորհրդի անդամ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.

Երբ անցած տարվա սեպտեմբերի 19-20-ին Արցախի պաշտպանության բանակը և աշխարհազորը հերոսական մարտ տվեցին տասնապատիկ գերակշիռ թշնամու ուժերի դեմ, շատերի համար այն անհայտ մնաց հետագա աղետալի իրադարձությունների լրատվական աղմուկի ներքո: Այնինչ այն արցախյան մաքառման կարևոր դրվագ էր, և ևս մեկ անգամ ցույց տվեց մեր ժողովրդի հերոսական ոգին: Այդ օրը թշնամին դաժան հակահարված ստացավ, ծանր կորուստներ կրեց, ստիպված էր կանգնել և բանակցել, արդյունքում առնվազն խաղաղ բնակչությունը փրկվեց սպանդից և նվաստացումից:
Մենք տեսնում էինք, որ Փաշինյանի պարտվողական վարչակարգը, որը մեն-մենակ թողեց Արցախի մեր մարտնչող եղբայրներին, ամեն ինչ անելու է նաև ջնջելու նրանց հիշատակը, և նրանց սխրանքի մասին ցանկացած հիշատակում: Ուստի մենք ինքներս նախաձեռնեցինք հավաքելու յուրաքանչյուր հերոս նահատակի պատմությունը, և վերջին կես տարվա ընթացքում հրապարակեցինք բոլորը մեր «Հայաքվե»-ի էջում: Առաջիկայում մենք նաև կամբողջացնենք աշխատանքը այս սխրանքի մասին պատմող առանձին գիրք հրապարակելով, մինչ այդ ցանկանում եմ գլուխս խոնարհել բոլոր նրանց առաջ, ովքեր իրենց կյանքի գնով պաշտպանեցին մեր պատիվն ու արժանապատվությունը, համբերություն և սփոփանք մաղթել նրանց հարազատներին, ինչպես նաև կամք ու կորով նրանց սուրբ գործի բոլոր շարունակողներին:
