1991 թվականի մայիսի 5-ի լույս 6-ի գիշերը Խորհրդային Ադրբեջանի տարածքում տեղակայված Խորհրդային զորքերի 4-րդ բանակի և ադրբեջանական ՕՄՕՆ-ի ստորաբաժանումները, օգտագործելով ուղղաթիռներ, տանկեր և ծանր հրետանի, արգելափակեցին Ոսկեպար գյուղի մատույցները՝ Խորհրդային Հայաստանի Նոյեմբերյանի շրջանը և մտան գյուղ։ Գյուղ մտած խորհրդային բանակի և ադրբեջանական ՕՄՕՆ-ի ստորաբաժանումները պայթեցրեցին մեկ ավտոմեքենա, ինչի հետևանքով զոհվեց երկու, ծանր վիրավորվեց 7 խաղաղ բնակիչ։ Այս մասին «Ոսկեպարի ցեղասպանությունը, Խորհրդային բանակը, ադրբեջանական ՕՄՕՆ-ը» վերտառությամբ իր հոդվածում գրում է Greek City Times-ը։
«Տեղեկանալով Ոսկեպարում տեղի ունեցածի մասին՝ ոստիկանության Նոյեմբերյանի շրջանային բաժնի 20 ոստիկան և երեք խաղաղ բնակիչ պաշտպանելու նպատակով անտառի միջով փորձեցին ներթափանցել գյուղ։ Նրանցից 11-ը դաժանաբար սպանվեց, իսկ մյուսները՝ բռնվեցին և տեղափոխվեցին ադրբեջանական ԽՍՀ Կիրովաբադ (Գանձակ, Գյանջա) քաղաքի բանտ, որտեղ ևս երեք մարդ մահացավ։ Խորհրդային զորքերի ստորաբաժանումները գերեվարեցին և ադրբեջանցի ՕՄՕՆ-ին հանձնեցին նաև գյուղում գտնվող և բնակավայրը հսկող 45 հայ ոստիկանների, որոնք նույնպես ադրբեջանական բանտում ենթարկվեցին խոշտանգումների։
Մայիսի 8-ին խորհրդային բանակի հրետակոծության հետևանքով Ոսկեպար գյուղից զոհվեց ևս երեք խաղաղ բնակիչ»,-գրում է պարբերականը։
«Ոսկեպար տանող ճանապարհն այսօր տարբերվում է նախկինից։ Արթնացող բնությունը՝ ծաղկած ծառերով, փարթամ կանաչապատումով, մեղմ զեփյուռով, չի համապատասխանում այն մութ օրվա մթնոլորտին, երբ տարիներ առաջ կատարվեց հանցագործությունը։
Երեսուներեք տարի առաջ՝ 1991 թվականի մայիսի 6-ի լուսադեմին, ոստիկանության Նոյեմբերյանի բաժնի 20 սպա և նրանց 3 ուղեկիցներն ընկան Խորհրդային բանակի և ադրբեջանական ՕՄՕՆ-ի (Հատուկ նշանակության միլիցիայի ստորաբաժանման) ստեղծած ծուղակը»,-գրում է Greek City Times-ը՝ հոդվածին կից ներկայացնելով Ոսկեպարում 1991 թվականի մայիսի 6-ի իրադարձությունների մասին պատմող տեսագրությունը։
