Հակակոռուպցիոն դատարանի՝ քաղբանտարկյալ Արմեն Աշոտյանի կալանքի ժամկետը երկարացնելու կամ այն վերացնելու դատական նիստին ընդառաջ մեր միջազգային գործընկեր Կենտրոնամետ դեմոկրատների միջազգային միությունը (IDC CDI) տարածել է հայտարարություն՝ նշելով, որ Հայաստանում շարունակվում են պետականորեն կազմակերպված լայնածավալ քաղաքական հետապնդումները ականավոր ընդդիմադիր առաջնորդների նկատմամբ և որ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները ընդլայնել են ընդդիմությանը լռեցնելու իրենց քարոզարշավը՝ օգտագործելով դատական համակարգը ընդդիմադիրների դեմ քրեական մեղադրանքներ սարքելու համար։
Կենտրոնամետ դեմոկրատների միջազգային միությունը (CDI)՝
Դատապարտում է Հայաստանի իշխանությունների քաղաքական դրդապատճառներով հետապնդումները ընդդիմադիր գործիչների նկատմամբ,
Շեշտում է Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարության, օրենքի գերակայության, քաղաքական ազատության և մարդու իրավունքների սկզբունքների պահպանման կարևորությունը,
Կոչ է անում ՀՀ կառավարությանը վերջ տալ ընդդիմադիր քաղաքական գործիչների և ակտիվիստների նկատմամբ բոլոր տեսակի քաղաքական հետապնդումներին,
Կոչ է անում արդարադատական համակարգի ամբողջական անկախությանը՝ որպես երկրի օրենքի գերակայության հիմնասյուն,
Կոչ է անում միջազգային հանրությանը ուշադիր հետևել այս տագնապալի իրավիճակի զարգացումներին և հրապարակայնորեն դատապարտել քաղաքական հետապնդման այս մեթոդները,
Կոչ է անում Հայաստանի իշխանություններին անհապաղ, անվերապահ ազատ արձակել Արմեն Աշոտյանին,
Կոչ է անում արդար, թափանցիկ և անկախ դատական գործընթաց՝ ապահովելով արդարության գերակայությունը պարոն Աշոտյանի և շատ այլ ընդդիմության առաջնորդների գործերով։
