Past.am-ը ներկայացնում է հետաքրքիր փաստեր մեր ոտքերի մասին.
1. Մեդելին Օլբրեխտը աշխարհի ամենափոքր ոտքեր ունեցող կինն է: Ոտքի չափը՝ 30 (ԳՕՍՏ) կամ հավասար է 4-ի (USA)
2. Մարդը օրական միջինը կատարում է 10 հազար քայլ, ամբողջ կյանքի ընթացքում՝ 185 հազար կմ, ինչը հավասար է Երկրագունդը 4 անգամ պտտվելուն
3. Ոտքը պարունակվում է մարմնի ոսկորների 25 տոկոսը
4. Կինը միջինը 5 կմ ավելի է քայլում տղամարդուց
5. Ոտքերում գտնվում է մոտավորապես 250 հազար քրտնագեղձ, որոնք արտադրում են օրական մոտ 400 մլ քրտինք
6. Ճնշումը, որը գործադրում է մարդու ոտքը վազքի ժամանակ, քառակի գերազանցում է նրա սեփական քաշը
7. Առաջին կոշիկը հայտնաբերվել է 5 հազար տարի առաջ՝ Սառցե դարաշրջանում ու պատրաստված է եղել կենդանու կաշվից
8. Կոշիկը հարկավոր է գնել օրվա երկրորդ կեսին, երբ ոտքերը փոքր-ինչ ուռած են
9. Կանանց 90 տոկոսը կրում է այնպիսի կոշիկ, որը սեղմում է ոտքերը
10. Կանանց մոտ ոտքերի հետ կապված խնդիրները քառակի ավելի շատ են հանդիպում, քան տղամարդկանց մոտ
11. Ոտքերն ավելի արագ են մեծանում շոգ եղանակին, հղիության ընթացքում ու դեռահասության տարիներին
12. Առաջին անգամ հին հռոմեացիները տարբերակեցին աջ ու ձախ ոտքերի համար նախատեսված կոշիկները: Մինչ այդ կարելի էր հանգիստ չշփոթել կոշիկները
13. Ոտքի կանգնելիս ոտքի չափսը մեծանում է 2 համարով
14. Կոշիկի չափը հեղինակել է Անգլիայի արքա Էդուարդ 2-րդը 1324թ.:
