Ընդհանրապես, դպրոցում մի առարկա կա, որը չսովորելը հետագայում հանգեցնում է լուրջ խնդիրների, իսկ պետական կառավարման համակարգում՝ երբեմն ողբերգության։
Դա մաթեմատիկան է։ Մաթեմատիկան միակ առարկան է, որի ժամանակ խնդիր է լուծվում, և եթե այդ խնդիրը չես լուծում, ուրեմն չես տիրապետում այդ առարկային։
 
Ցանկացած ոլորտում խնդիր լուծելը պահանջում է մաթեմատիկական մտածողություն, հակառակ պարագայում խնդրի լուծումը հանգեցնում է նորանոր խնդիրների։
Ահա այս պատճառով է նաև, որ իշխանության մեջ որոշում կայացնողները կատարում են անհասկանալի քայլեր՝ անհասկանալի հետևանքներով:
 
Այս պահին ամենակարևոր օրինակը՝ սահմանագծումը և սահմանազատումը։
Ցանկացած տարածքի մակերես հայտնի է լինում, երբ հայտնի է այդ տարածքի պարագիծը, այս դեպքում սահմանը։ Հիմա, երբ իշխանությունը հայտնում է, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության տարածքը 29,743 քառ․ կմ է, ապա պետք է հայտնի լինի այն սահմանը (պարագիծը), որից ներս գտնվող տարածքը չափելի է, և այդ չափը 29,743 քառ․ կմ է։
 
Հետևաբար, երբ այդ պարագծի մի մասն ես գծում, հետո այդ 29,743 քառ․ կմ ստանալու համար կարող է պարզվել, որ մնացած գիծը պետք է այլ ձև գծել։ Ավելի պարզ, կարող է ստացվել այնպես, որ մաս-մաս գծելու արդյունքում վերջում ունենալու ենք այլ մակերես, և պետք լինի գիծը փոխել։
 
Եվ ահա, այս պարզ մաթեմատիկական ճշմարտությունն է, որ մակերես ստանալու համար պետք է գիծը միանգամից գծել, այսինքն՝ պետք է սահմանագծումը և սահմանազատումը անել միանգամից։
