Ամեն տարի Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին տոնում է սիրո և երիտասարդների բարեխոս Սուրբ Սարգսի տոնը: Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցին սրբացնում է Սարգսին, որը համարվում է սիրո երազանքն իրականացնող: Այս տարի Սուրբ Սարգսի տոնը կնշվի հունվարի 23-ին. այս օրը նաեւ երիտասարդների օրհնության օրն է:
Սուրբ Սարգսի տոնը Հայաստանում ընդունված է նշել ոչ միայն եկեղեցական ծեսով, աղոթքներով, այլև ժողովրդական սովորույթներով: Այդ ավանդույթներից է տոնին նախորդող գիշերն աղի բլիթ ուտելը: Ըստ ավանդույթի` երիտասարդները պետք է երազում տեսնեն իրենց ապագա ամուսնուն, ով իրեն ջուր է բերում:
Ըստ ազգագրագետ Լուսիկ Ագուլեցու՝ սխալ է այն կարծիքը, թե բլիթ պիտի պատրաստի տարիքով մեծ, այրի կին: «Եթե հավաքված են կանայք, ապա նրանցից աղի բլիթ է պատրաստում ամենաերջանիկը, ով մեծ սեր է ապրել ու երեխաներ ունեցել: Կամ երբ աղջիկներ են հավաքվում, այդ պարագայում պատրաստում է սիրահարված աղջիկը, ով այդ «սիրո տարոսիկը» տալիս է բոլորին»:

Ալյուրի վրա պետք է ավելացնել աղը, այնուհետև ջուրը: Լավ խառնել, այնքան, որ ստացվի միատարր զանգված: Ստացված խմորը գրտնակի օգնությամբ տարածել և բարակեցնել, այնուհետև կտրատել ըստ ցանկության: Դնել ջեռոցը և թխել ՝ մինչև բլիթների մակերեսը վարդագույն դառնա:
