Մայիսի 28-ին Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին տոնեց Սուրբ Գայանյանց կույսերի հիշատակը, որն այս տարի համընկել է Հանրապետության տոնին։
Մայիսի 27-ից հունիսի 2-ը Հայոց Եկեղեցին տոնախմբում է Արարատյան շաբաթը: Այն նշանավորվում է Հռիփսիմյանց և Գայանյանց կույսերի, Հովհաննես Կարապետի հիշատակությամբ, ինչպես նաև Լուսավորչի՝ Վիրապից ելնելու և Կաթողիկե սուրբ Էջմիածնի տոներով:
Բերկրառատ տոնի առիթով առավոտյան Վեհարանից եկեղեցականների հանդիսավոր թափորն առաջնորդվեց դեպի Սուրբ Գայանե վանք: Այն մինչև Սուրբ Գրիգոր Լուսավորչի կամար գլխավորեց Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը՝ նահատակ սրբուհու մասունքն ամփոփող Աջով օրհնելով բարեպաշտ ժողովրդին:
Այնուհետև Վեհափառ Հայրապետը մասունքակիր Աջը փոխանցեց Մայր Աթոռի լուսարարապետի պաշտոնակատար Հոգեշնորհ Տ. Հարություն վարդապետ Կիրակոսյանին:
Սուրբ Գայանե վանքի առջև թափորը դիմավորեցին Մայր Աթոռի Վանորեից տեսուչ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Արտակ եպիսկոպոս Տիգրանյանը, վանքի հոգևոր սպասավորներն ու բազմաթիվ հավատավոր հայորդիներ:
Օրվա խորհրդի առիթով Սուրբ Գայանե վանքում մատուցվեց Սուրբ և Անմահ Պատարագ: Պատարագիչն էր Սուրբ Գայանե վանքի վանահայր Հոգեշնորհ Տ. Մատթեոս վարդապետ Պողոսյանը:
Իր քարոզում Հայր Սուրբը, անդրադառնալով Սուրբ Գայանյանց կույսերի կյանքին և նահատակության պատմությանը, ընդգծեց, որ նրանք իրենց անբասիր մաքրությամբ, անսասան հավատքով, առաքինի վարքով, քաջությամբ ու համարձակությամբ, առ Աստված տոգորված սիրով դարձան Տիրոջ երկնավոր արքայության ընտրյալները։
«Այսօր սիրելիներ, մայիսի 28-ն է, մեր պատմության հերոսական էջերից մեկը և գեղեցիկ զուգադիպությամբ Գայանյանց կույսերի տոնը համընկել է Սարդարապատի հերոսամարտի հաղթական օրվա հետ։ Այսօր էլ ծանր փորձությունների առաջ է կանգնած մեր երկիրը։ Սակայն վստահ ենք, որ քրիստոնեական մեր տիրավանդ հավատքով, Տիրոջ զորակցությամբ հաղթահարելու ենք այս դժվարին ժամանակները ևս», - ասաց Հայր Մատթեոսը՝ հայցելով Սուրբ Գայանյանց և Հռիփսիմյանց բարեխոսությունը Եկեղեցու պայծառության, հայրենիքի խաղաղության ու ապահովության համար։
Սուրբ Պատարագի ընթացքում, Հանրապետության տոնի առիթով, Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի հանդիսապետությամբ կատարվեց Հանրապետական մաղթանք:
Եկեղեցականաց դասը ու ներկա ժողովուրդն աղոթք բարձրացրեցին առ Աստված Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անսասանության, խաղաղ, բարօր և անվտանգ կյանքի համար:
Մաղթանքի ավարտին Նորին Սրբությունը «Պահպանիչ» աղոթքով և Ս․ Գայանեի մասունքակիր աջով օրհնեց հավատավոր հայորդիներին։
