«Տելեգրամյան ալիքներից մեկով այսօր տեղեկություն է տարածվել, թե իբր տեղի է ունեցել Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի եւ Բագրատ Սրբազանի հանդիպումը, եւ Ծառուկյանը մերժել է Սրբազանի խնդրանքը՝ միանալ շարժմանը, բերելով ինչ-որ պատճառաբանություններ։ Պաշտոնապես պետք է արձանագրեմ, որ բացառությամբ այդ «տեղեկատվության» առաջին մասի, մնացածը հորինվածք է եւ չի համապատասխանում իրականությանը։ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանն իրոք Բագրատ Սրբազանին հյուրընկալել է իր տանը, ընտանեկան միջավայրում՝ ընթրիքի սեղանի շուրջ։ Իսկ ինչպես հայտնի է, հայկական հյուրընկալության կանոնների համաձայն՝ ընտանեկան օջախում հյուրընկալության ժամանակ ընդունված չէ քննարկել աշխատանքային, առավել եւս՝ քաղաքական հարցեր։ Սակայն մի փոքր բացելով հանդիպման փակագծերը՝ ասեմ, որ Բագրատ Սրբազանը Գագիկ Ծառուկյանին դիմել է օրեր առաջ բնական աղետից տուժած բնակավայրերին օգնության ձեռք մեկնելու խնդրանքով, ինչին Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը անմիջապես դրական արձագանք է տվել եւ շեշտել, որ անհապաղ կհանձնարարի բարեգործական հիմնադրամի աշխատակազմին կազմակերպել աջակցության տրամադրման գործընթացը։ Ի դեպ, բարեգործական հիմնադրամի աշխատակազմի եւ թիմակիցների հետ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի հանդիպման տեսանյութն առկա է։ Եվ վերջում, զուտ ժամանակագրորեն այդ «տեղեկատվությունը» տարածվել է այն ժամանակ, երբ ընթրիքը դեռ ընթացքի մեջ էր։ Սա եւս մի փոքր, բայց կարեւոր դետալ է՝ առ այն, որ տեղեկությունը, մեղմ ասած, լիարժեք չէ», - գրել է ԱԺ նախկին պատգամավոր, «Բարգավաճ Հայաստան» կուսակցության մամուլի քարտուղար ԻՎԵՏԱ ՏՈՆՈՅԱՆԸ:
