Տիգրան Աբրահամյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

«Իլհամ Ալիևի` օկուպացված Իվանյան (նախկ. Խոջալու) գյուղում հնչեցրած հայտարարությունը, այսպես կոչված, «Խոջալուի ցեղասպանության» մասին, թե «Հայաստանն ինքը պետք է ընդունի դա, ինքը պետք է ներողություն խնդրի մեզանից, եթե դա չանի, ապա, կարծում եմ, Հայաստանը երբեք չի կարողանալու ոտքի կանգնել», խոսում է այն մասին, որ ադրբեջանական պահանջները անվերջանալի են այնքան ժամանակ, քանի Հայաստանը վերջնականապես չի հպատակվել թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմին:

ՀՀ իշխանության խոսույթի այն պնդումները, թե սա էլ տանք, որ հանգիստ ապրենք սկսվեց Արցախից, շարունակվեց ադրբեջանական ագրեսիաներին լռությամբ արձագանքելով, հետո` Տավուշ և շարունակվելու է այնքան ժամանակ, քանի Հայաստանում քաղաքական արմատական փոփոխություններ չեն եղել և գործող կառավարիչները իրենց աթոռներից չեն պոկվել:

Իվանյան բնակավայրը 90-ականներին ոչ միայն հայտնի էր որպես Ստեփանակերտի ու հարակից բնակավայրերի դեմ օգտագործվող կրակակետի և հայկական բնակավայրերից մարդկանց առևանգելու կենտրոնակայանի, այլ նրանով, որ հետագայում դրա` տարբեր տեղերից բերված բնակիչներն, ադրբեջանական ներքաղաքական պայքարի զոհեր դարձան, ինչը ժամանակին հենց ադրբեջանցիները գաղտնազերծեցին:
