VIDEO«Պարտվում եք այն պահին, երբ դադարում եք պայքարել»: Հիմնարար այս մտքի հեղինակը ոչ այլ ոք է, քան Միջազգային քրեական դատարանի նախկին գլխավոր դատախազ Լուիս Մորենո Օկամպոն։ Անվանի գիտնականն ու ցեղասպանագետը նշել է, թե հայերը պետք է շարունակեն պայքարը Բաքվում պահվող հայ բանտարկյալներին ազատ արձակելու համար:
Կոչով դիմելով հայերին՝ Օկամպոն նշել է. «Դուք՝ 1915 թվականի ցեղասպանության մոխիրներից վերածնվածներդ, մարդկային աննահանջ և համառ ոգու վկայությունն եք: Այսօր դուք ունեք եզակի զորություն պաշտպանելու արդարությունն ու ճշմարտությունը համաշխարհային հարթակներում: Դուք կարող եք ի ցույց դնել նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հանցանքները, ով շարունակում է թիրախավորել իր քաղաքացիներին Ադրբեջանում և իրագործել է վայրագություններ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի/Արցախի հայերի նկատմամբ՝ միաժամանակ կեղծավոր կերպով իր երկիրը կլիմայի խնդիրների համաշխարհային քննարկմանը դիրքավորելով որպես առաջնորդ երկիր»:
Նրա խոսքով, Կլիմայի փոփոխության վերաբերյալ ՄԱԿ-ի 29-րդ համաժողովը, որը նախատեսվում է Ադրբեջանում այս տարվա նոյեմբերին, աննախադեպ հնարավորություն է լույս սփռելու այս հրեշավոր անիրավության վրա: «Ու չնայած Ադրբեջանը բրենդավորում է այս միջոցառումը որպես «Կողմերի խաղաղության համաժողով», ձեզ վրա է դրված բացահայտելու Ալիևի ռեժիմի և նրա գործունեության մասին ճշմարտությունը»,- ասել է նա:
Դիմելով հայ ժողովրդին՝ Լուիս Մորենո Օկամպոն ասում է. «Դուք, ցրված լինելով աշխարհով մեկ, բացառիկ դեր ունեք պաշտպանելու ոչ միայն ձեր ժողովրդին ու ձեր երկիրը, այլև արդարությանն ու շրջակա միջավայրի ամբողջականությանն առնչվող ավելի լայն շահեր: «Մենք կպարտվենք այն օրը, երբ դադարենք պայքարել» ասել են ձեր նախնիները՝ պատգամելով ձեզ տոկունություն: Դուք կարող եք առաջնորդել համաշխարհային շարժում, մասնակից դարձնելով այլ շահագրգիռ համայնքների, և լուծելու երկու օրհասական խնդիր՝ կլիմայի փոփոխության և ցեղասպանության խնդիրները»:
Միջազգային իրավունքի սկզբունքների քննարկումը միայն բավարար չէ: Դրանք պետք է ակտիվորեն պահպանվեն: «Հայ համայնքի ղեկավարներն ու քաղաքացիական ակտիվիստները պետք է համախմբեն աշխարհի քաղաքացիներին՝ լրագրողներից մինչև կլիմայի համար պայքարող ակտիվիստների՝ այդ սկզբունքներն իրականացնելու համար»,- նշել է աշխարհահռչակ գիտնականը, հավելել, թե 29-րդ համաժողովը, որն իսկապես խաղաղության կողմնակից է, պետք է նշանավորվի Բաքվից հայ պատանդների և քաղբանտարկյալների ազատմամբ:
«Դուք ունեք հանձնառություն, հասանելիություն և հաստատակամություն առաջնորդելու այս փոխակերպող շարժումը»,- դիմելով հայ ժողովրդին՝ ասել է Օկամպոն:
