Глава Генштаба ВС Армении обсудил с коллегой из Британии сотрудничество в сфере обороны

Возглавляемая первым заместителем министра обороны, начальником Генерального штаба ВС РА генерал-лейтенантом Эдвардом Асряном делегация в Лондоне приняла участие в ежегодной конференции, посвященной вопросам ведения сухопутных войн. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба оборонного ведомства Армении.
Конференция была организована под эгидой Королевского объединенного института видов Вооруженных сил (RUSI) Соединенного Королевства и была направлена на изучение угроз, существующих в наземном секторе ведения войны, возможными способами борьбы с ними, а также на ознакомление с партнерскими решениями в этом направлении и последними военно-политическими и промышленными событиями.
В рамках конференции генерал-лейтенант Эдвард Асрян провел встречу с начальником Генерального штаба британской армии генералом Роландом Уокером.
Были обсуждены существующие рамки сотрудничества между двумя государствами в сфере обороны и возможности его дальнейшего развития и расширения.
