Число погибших в результате оползней на юге Индии достигло 277

Число погибших в результате оползней в южном индийском штате Керала увеличилось до 277. Об этом сообщает газета The Times of India со ссылкой на данные департамента здравоохранения штата.
Ранее сообщалось о 163 погибших. Более 200 человек получили ранения. Власти Кералы подтвердили, что 227 человек все еще числятся пропавшими без вести. Информации о погибших и пострадавших россиянах нет.
После двух дней проливных дождей в районе Ваянад южного индийского штата Керала в течение четырех часов сошли сразу три оползня. На месте происшествия продолжается поисково-спасательная операция, в ней участвуют военные, задействованы техника ВВС, поисковые собаки. Оползни снесли множество домов, разрушили дороги и мост.
