Ինքն իր աշխարհն ուներ, իրեն ավելի շատ գիտելիքն էր հետաքրքրում։ 44-օրյա պատերազմում անմահացած Գևորգ Կարապետյանի մայրն է պատմում Iravaban.net-ի «Արցախյան պատերազմի անմահ զոհերը» շարքի շրջանակներում։
Ավիաուսումնական կենտրոնի ուսանողին դեռ մանկուց հետաքրքրում էր երկինքն ու թռիչքը։
«Փոքր ժամանակ հարցեր էր տալիս՝ պապա, երկնքում ինչո՞ւ վթար չի լինում, ինքնաթիռներն ինչպե՞ս իրար չեն հանդիպում։ Հիմա փոքր տղաս է եղբոր գծով գնում, քանի որ Գևորգը չավարտեց։ Հիմա նա առաջին կուրսում է սովորում, ասում է՝ Գևորգի գործը ես կշարունակեմ»,-պատմում է մայրը։
Եղբայրը՝ Արթուրն ասում է, որ չի կարող սովորել այնպես, ինչպես իր եղբայրն էր սովորում․ «Փորձում եմ, ինձ թվում է կգա պահը, որ կկարողանամ անել այն, ինչ ինքը չարեց»։ Երկնքի սիրահարը երազում էր աշխարհով մեկ շրջագայել։ Տարբեր լեզուներ էր ուսումնասիրել։
«Իսպաներեն էր սովորել, առաջին երկիրը, որը ուզում էր գնալ, Իսպանիան էր»,-ասում է մայրը։
Մի քանի օրվա զինծառայող էր Գևորգը, երբ 2020 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 27-ին Ադրբեջանը Արցախի դեմ պատերազմ սանձազերծեց։ Ընտանիքի անդամներին ասել էր, որ նորակոչիկները չեն մասնակցում մարտական գործողություններին։
«Մինչև հոկտեմբերի 19-ը մտածել եմ, որ իրենք նոր գնացած երեխաներ են, ո՛չ տեղամաս գիտեն, ո՛չ զենք բռնել գիտեն, երբ են հասցրել․․․Ասում էր՝ մամ, մի մտածի»,-հիշում է մայրը։
