Նա Եռաբլուր այցելեց 44-օրյա պատերազմի 4-րդ տալերլիցի հաջորդ օրը՝ երկրում չլինելու պատճառով:
Լռելու փոխարեն՝ նա դարձյալ խոսեց:
«Ինձ համար հետեւությունը մեկն է. մեր Նահատակները մեզ համար պետություն ունենալու նոր հնարավորություն են բացել։ Այդ հնարավորությունը (չգիտակցված) սկսեցինք կորցնել Անկախության ձեռքբերումից գրեթե անմիջապես հետո, իսկ 1999 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 27-ից հետո կորցրինք՝ թվում է անդառնալիորեն։ Նահատակները նոր հնարավորություն ստեղծեցին մեզ համար», – նշել է Փաշինյանը:
Եթե այս տկարամիտ մարդու հիվանդ երևակայությանը հետևենք, ապա աղետաբեր պատերազմն ու Արցախի կորուստը «մեզ համար պետություն ունենալու նոր հնարավորություն են բացել»:
Այս նույն տրամաբանությամբ՝ Փաշինյանը Սեպտեմբերի 27-ը, Նոյեմբերի 9-ը կամ Արցախի կործանման օրը պետք է հայտարարի Հայաստանի պետականության վերականգնման օր:
Իրականությունը միանգամայն այլ է՝ Փաշինյանի նախապատերազմյան քաղաքականությունն է պատերազմը բերել մեր տուն՝ Արցախի կործանման և Հայաստանի սուբեկտության ոչնչացման պատճառ դառնալով:
Բոլոր նրանք, ովքեր պնդում են, որ Փաշինյանի նախապատերազմյան վարքագիծը կամ քաղաքականությունը կապ չունեն Ադրբեջանի կողմից 44-օրյա պատերազմի սանձազերծումը լեգիտիմացնելու հետ, ակամայից կյանքի իրավունք են տալիս Փաշինյանի այն հակագիտական թեզին, թե «… պետություն ունենալու հնարավորությունը (չգիտակցված) սկսեցինք կորցնել Անկախության ձեռքբերումից գրեթե անմիջապես հետո»։
