«Հայաքվե» նախաձեռնող խմբի համակարգող, հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է․
Իր համահեղինակներ Ջեյմս Րոբինսոնի և Սայմոն Ջոնսոնի հետ միասին, այս տարվա Տնտեսագիտության բնագավառում Նոբելյան մրցանակը ստացել է ծագումով հայազգի, Ստամբուլում ծնված և մեծացած, և հիմնականում ԱՄՆ-ում աշխատող տնտեսագետ Դարոն Աճեմողլուն։
Իր համահեղինակներ Ջեյմս Րոբինսոնի և Սայմոն Ջոնսոնի հետ միասին, այս տարվա Տնտեսագիտության բնագավառում Նոբելյան մրցանակը ստացել է ծագումով հայազգի, Ստամբուլում ծնված և մեծացած, և հիմնականում ԱՄՆ-ում աշխատող տնտեսագետ Դարոն Աճեմողլուն։
Սա կարևորագույն ձեռքբերում է այս գիտնականների համար, քանի որ նրանց հեղինակած աշխատությունները դեռևս շատ թարմ են (Նոբելյան մրցանակները հաճախ տրվում են գիտական աշխատությունների հրապարակումից 30-40 տարի անց): Աճեմողլուի և Րոբինսոնի կողմից առավել նշանավոր աշխատությունը՝ "Ինչու են ազգերը ձախողում" հրապարակվել է ընդամենը 12 տարի առաջ, և թեև շատ հարցերում վիճելի է, միանգամից համաշխարհային բեստսելեր է դարձել։
Այս հիմնարար աշխատության կարևորագույն թեզը երկրների տնտեսական հաջողության, և նրանցում գործող քաղաքական համակարգի միջև կապի բացահայտումն է բազմաթիվ երկրների օրինակով։ Հեղինակները ծավալուն ապացույցներ են ներկայացնում առ այն, որ այլ հավասար պայմանների դեպքում, տնտեսական հաջողության են հասնում այն երկրները, որտեղ քաղաքական համակարգը մրցակցային և ներառական է, արդյունքում դատական համակարգն ավելի անկախ և արդյունավետ է, գործարարների վրա քաղաքական ճնշումը և կոռուպցիոն բեռը՝ զգալիորեն պակաս, տնտեսության տարբեր ոլորտներ մուտքի և գործունեության ազատությունը՝ շատ ավելի բարձր։
Թեև այս օրինաչափությունից որոշակի բացառություններ ևս կան, ընդհանոր առմամբ նմանատիպ երկրների դեպքում այն հստակ գործում է։ Առավել ակնառու են Լատինական Ամերիկայի և Աֆրիկայի երկրների միջև տարբերությունները՝ ներառական, ժողովրդավար և կայուն քաղաքական համակարգ ունեցող երկրները շատ ավելի մեծ տնտեսական հաջողության են հասել, քան նրանք, որտեղ գերիշխել է մեկ կուսակցություն, կամ եղել է ռազմական դիկտատուրա։
Մեզ համար այստեղից կա մի պարզ հետևություն՝ պետք է համառ և տքնաջան աշխատել, որպեսզի մեր երկիրը երբեք չվերածվի մեկ կուսակցության դիկտատուրայի, որպեսզի դատարանները անկախ լինեն, իրավունքը՝ գերակա, քաղաքական հակառակորդներին շինծու գործերով չկալանավորեն, իսկ գործարարներն էլ ու նրանց ձեռնարկությունները չդառնան կամայական բռնազավթման թիրախ։ Ցավոք, այսօր մենք դեռ հեռու ենք դրանից (և շարունակում ենք հեռանալ), սակայն եթե ցանկանում ենք կենսունակ մնալ, և հաջողության հասնել մեր գիշատիչ արտաքին միջավայրում, ուրիշ այլընտրանք չունենք։
Այսքանով ջերմորեն շնորհավորւմ եմ պարոն Աճեմողլուին և նրա գործընկերներին, և հույս հայտնում, որ երբևիցե կկարողանանք նրանց հետ անմիջական աշխատել ի բարօրություն մեր ազգի ու պետության։
