Միացյալ Նահանգներում ավարտվեցին համապետական ընտրությունները։ Ի զարմանս շատերի և հատկապես սոցիոլոգների, նախկին նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը վստահ հաղթանակ տարավ դեմոկրատական կուսակցության թեկնածու Քամալա Հարիսի նկատմամբ։ Հանրապետականները նաև խոշոր առավելության են հասել ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի Սենատում ու Ներկայացուցիչների պալատում՝ առաջիկա չորս տարում ապահովելով իրենց առավելությունը։

Նախնական տվյալներով, Թրամփը կստանա 300-ից ավելի ընտրիչների ձայնը, մինչդեռ նախագահ դառնալու համար անհրաժեշտ էր 270 ընտրիչի քվե։

Նա արդեն իսկ հաղթանակի ելույթ է ունեցել, հայտարարել, թե այլևս ոչ մի պատերազմ չի լինելու։ «Իմ պաշտոնավարման ընթացքում ես պատրաստվում եմ դադարեցնել պատերազմները»,- հայտարարել է նա։ Այս հայտարարությանը, թերևս, լուրջ վերաբերվել չի կարելի։ Թրամփը հայտնի է Իսրայելի նկատմամբ ջերմ վերաբերմունքով, չի թաքցնում Իրանի նկատմամբ հակակրանքը, բազմիցս սպառնացել է Թեհրանին։

Թրամփի ընտրությունից հետո խնդիրներ են ծագելու նաև ՆԱՏՕ-ի և Եվրոպայի գործընկերների հետ, ամենաշատը տուժելու է Ուկրաինան։ Հանրապետականներն առանձնապես շահագրգռված չեն Հարավային Կովկասով, ուստի խնդիրներ կունենա նաև Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի իշխանությունը։ Դեպի Արևմուտք նրա սլացքը, բնականաբար, կանգ է առնելու, իսկ առաջիկայում մենք ականատես ենք լինելու Փաշինյանի՝ արագ ռուսամետ դառնալու քայլերին ու հայտարարություններին։ Չի բացառվում, Վլադիմիր Պուտինի լուսանկարն էլ փակցնի իր աշխատասենյակում։
