Մհեր Ավետիսյանը դեռևս անցյալ տարի նոյեմբերին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է․
Առօրյա խնդիրների մեջ մխրճված շատերս չենք էլ նկատում, որ մեր հայրենիքը հայտնվել է ծանր փորձությունների առջև:

Սակայն՝ մյուս կողմից թերթելով հայոց պատմության էջերը, մենք տեսնում ենք, որ առաջին անգամ չէ, որ մենք հայտնվել ենք նման ծանր իրավիճակում: Մեր ժողովուրդը բազում անգամներ միգուցե ավելի ծանր իրավիճակներում է հայտնվել, բայց միշտ էլ մեր ժողովրդի միջից ծնվել են հայորդիներ, ովքեր իրենց ուսերի վրա կրելով ժամանակի դժվարությունները մեր ժողովրդին փորձել են հանել ստեղծված իրավիճակներից։
Ես վստահ եմ, որ մեր ժամանակներում ևս ծնվելու են հայորդիներ, ովքեր իրենց ուսերի վրա, իրենց կյանքի գնով փորձելու են փոխել այն դառը ճակատագիրը, որը բաժին է հասել մեր սերնդին։
Սիրելի՛ ժողովուրդ, մենք հանձնվելու, կոտրվելու իրավունք չունենք, մենք այս դառը փորձությունները ևս պետք է հաղթահարենք և մեր գալիք սերունդներին ժառանգենք ավելի բարեկեցիկ ու անվտանգ հայրենիք:
