Ուժային բլոկի նախարարների և բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներից մի քանիսի պաշտոնանկությունները լրջորեն սրել են իրավիճակը «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցությունում, ընդ որում որպես այս իրավիճակում հաղթող կողմ հանդես է գալիս ԱԺ պաշտպանության և անվտանգության հարցերի հանձնաժողովի տխրահռչակ նախագահ Անդրանիկ Քոչարյանը։ Վերջինս, որի գլխին մութ ամպեր էին հավաքվել հոկտեմբերին ԱԺ-ում տեղի ունեցած խորհրդարանական լսումներից հետո, այնքան, որ Քոչարյանի հարցը քննարկել է նույնիսկ ՔՊ ընդլայնված նիստում և խոսում էին նրա պաշտոնազրկության ու մանդատազրկման մասին, երեկ ողջ օրը «շողշողացել է» Ազգային ժողովում, և ՔՊ նիստում իր դեմ ելույթներ ունեցած խմբակիցներին առանց որևէ կաշկանդվելու սպառնալիքներ տվել, թե՝ «նրանք դեռ իրենց հալը կտեսնեն, քանի որ Փաշինյանը լսում է հենց իր խորհուրդները։

Այն, որ Անդրանիկ Քոչարյանը ոչ երկրորդական դեր է խաղացել առնվազն ՔԿ նախագահ Արգիշտի Քյարամյանի և ոստիկանապետ Վահե Ղազարյանի պաշտոնանկության գործում, որևէ մեկը չի էլ կասկածում։ Քոչարյանը շատ վաղուց խնդիրներ ուներ այդ երկու պաշտոնյաների հետ և հնարավոր բոլոր միջոցներով ցանկանում էր հասնել նրանց պաշտոնանկությանը։

Այդուհանդերձ, ՔՊ մեր աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ, խորհրդարանական լսումներն ամենևին էլ առաջնային չեն եղել պաշտոնազրկման գործում։ Փաշինյանն ինքն այլ աղբյուրներից տեղեկություններ է հավաքել թե՛ Արգիշտի Քյարամյանի գործունեության, թե՛ Վահե Ղազարյանի վերաբերյալ, և ընդամենը պահի տակ, այն էլ խնջույքի սեղանի մոտ նստած, «վոթսափ»-ով հանձնարարել է հրաժարականի դիմում ներկայացնել։ Առնվազն այդ երկու պաշտոնյաներին Փաշինյանն ամբողջությամբ չի վանելու իրենից, որևէ անշառ պաշտոնի կնշանակի նրանց իր կողքը պահելու և բերանները փակ պահելու համար։
