Բահրեյնի մայրաքաղաք Մանամայում ընթացող ծանրամարտի աշխարհի առաջնությունում դեկտեմբերի 11-ին Փաշիկ Ալավերդյանի գլխավորած հավաքականից մրցահարթակ դուրս եկավ աշխարհի բրոնզե մեդալակիր, Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն, 2023 թ. Եվրոպայի փոխչեմպիոն, Ռիո-2016 եւ Փարիզ-2024 Օլիմպիական խաղերի մասնակից Անդրանիկ Կարապետյանը (89 կգ):
Հայաստանի հավաքականի անդամը զրո ստացավ հրում վարժությունում:
Պոկում վարժությունը Կարապետյանը մեկնարկեց 170 կգ-ով եւ վստահ պահեց ծանրաձողը գլխավերեւում: Երկրորդ մոտեցման համար Փաշիկ Ալավերդյանը պատվիրեց 175 կգ, բայց Եվրոպայի չեմպիոնը չկարողացավ պոկել: Երրորդ մոտեցումն էլ չհաջողեց: Այս վարժությունում Կարապետյանը պայքարն ավարտեց 4-րդ տեղով: Այս վարժությունում 183 կգ արդյունքով աշխարհի ռեկորդ սահմանեց Փարիզ-2024 օլիմպիական չեմպիոն, բուլղարացի Կառլոս Նասարը:
Հրում վարժությունում Կարապետյանը պայքարը սկսեց 201 կգ-ով չկարողացավ բարձրացնել: Հավաքականի մարզիչը երկրորդ մոտեցման համար ավելացրեց 2 կգ, բայց Կարապետյանը ձախողեց 203 կգ էլ: Երրորդ մոտեցումն էլ չհաջողվեց եւ այս վարժությունում Կարապետյանը զրո ստացավ:
Անդրանիկ Կարապետյանը 2012 թ. երիտասարդների Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն է, 2015 թ. աշխարհի եւ Եվրոպայի բրոնզե մեդալակիր, 2016 թ. Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն:
Մասնակցել է 2016 թվականի Ռիոյի Օլիմպիական խաղերին, որտեղ ծանր վնասվածք է ստացել եւ լքել պայքարը: Վնասվածքից հետո 2017 թ. վերադարձել է մրցահարթակ եւ Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում գրավել 5-րդ տեղ:
2017 թ. Համաշխարհային ուսանողական խաղերի չեմպիոն է, 2017 թ. Եվրոպայի Մ23 չեմպիոն, 2018 թ. Եվրոպայի Մ23 չեմպիոն, 2020 թ. International Fajr Cup վարկանիշային մրցաշարի փոքր ոսկե մեդալակիր, 2021 թ. աշխարհի առաջնության փոքր ոսկե մեդալակիր, 2022 թ. Եվրոպայի առաջնության փոքր արծաթե մեդալակիր:
2023 թ. ապրիլին Երեւանում անցկացված Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում նվաճել է փոխչեմպիոնի կոչումը: Երկամարտում գրանցել է 374 կգ (178+196) արդյունք: Պոկում վարժությունում 178 կգ-ով սահմանել է Եվրոպայի ռեկորդ: 2023 թ. աշխարհի առաջնության փոքր ոսկե մեդալակիր է:
Մասնակցել է Փարիզ-2024-ին, որտեղ 89 կգ քաշայինների պայքարում երկամարտի 370 կգ արդյունքով 7-րդ տեղի արդյունք է ցույց տվել (170+200):
