«Ինչու՞ է 1934 թվականին ստեղծվել Շիրակի պետական համալսարանը. այստեղ կա մի շատ կոնկրետ և մի փիլիսոփայական հարց»։ Այս մասին այսօր՝ դեկտեմբերի 18-ին Գյումրիում Շիրակի պետական համալսարանի 90-րդ տարեդարձին նվիրված միջոցառմանն իր ելույթի ժամանակ ասաց Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։
«Սկսեմ կոնկրետությունից. ինչու՞ է 1934 թվականին Գյումրիում ստեղծվել այն բուհը, որը հետո դարձել է Շիրակի պետական համալսարան։ Որովհետև այդպես պահանջել և պարտադրել է տնտեսությունը։ Մենք պետք է շատ կարևոր մի արձանագրում անենք, որ եթե բուհական համակարգը փոխկապակցված չէ տնտեսության հետ, տրամաբանությունից դուրս է գալիս։ Այս առումով, կարևոր է արձանագրել՝ այն կրթական համակարգը, որը մենք ունենք, ո՞ր ստանդարտի և ո՞ր ժամանակի մեջ է գործում։ 1934 թվականին առաջիկա ռազմավարական կարիքներն ապահովելու համար ստեղծվել է բուհական համակարգ , որը գործունակ է եղել 1947, 1957, 1974 թվականների համար։ Բայց խնդիրը նրա մեջ է, թե ինչքանով ենք մենք կարողանում ժամանակի պահանջներին համապատասխան վերափոխվել։ Արդյոք այդ նույն ստանդարտները արդյունավետությամբ գործել է 1974, 2004, 2014 և 2024 թվականներին»,–ասել է Փաշինյանը՝ նշելով, որ դրանք հարցեր են, որոնց պատասխանները պետք է գտնել։
Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը նշել է, որ հաջորդ կարևոր հարցն այն է՝ ինչո՞ւ մի քանի հազար տարվա պատմություն ունեցող պետությունը չունի գոնե մի քանի հարյուր տարեկան բուհ։
«Այս հարցի պատասխանի հետևից գնալը շատ կարևոր ճանապարհ է և կրթական պրոցեսի անբաժան մասը։ Մենք պետք է պատասխանենք այդ հարցին, թե ինչու՞ 105 տարեկան բուհ չունենք՝ մի քանի հազար տարվա պատմություն ունեցող ժողովուրդ լինելով։ Պետություն չենք ունեցել, դրա համար էլ բուհ չենք ունեցել։ Մենք մեր այսօրվա խնդիրըները չպետք է դիտարկենք առանձին վերցված բուհի շահերի տեսանկյունից, պետք է դիտարկենք Հայաստանի հանրապետության երկարաժամկետ շահերի տեսակետից»,–ասել է նա։
