37 տարի առաջ այս օրը` սկիզբ դրվեց Արցախյան շարժմանը

Այս շարժումը միայն Արցախի, նրա ինքնորոշման ու պայքարի մասին չէր, այն համազգային գործընթացի ամբողջությունն էր մեկ ընդհանուր գաղափարի շուրջ, որը բերեց Հայաստանի անկախությանը, Արցախի ինքնորոշմանը, պատերազմում էլ` հայ ժողովրդի հաղթանակին:
Ի՞նչ ունենք այսօր: Պարտված ու պառակտված Հայաստան, հանձնված Արցախ և խորը հիասթափություն:
Արդյո՞ք մենք` որպես ժողովուրդ, սպառել ենք մեր պայքարի ու դիմադրության ռեսուրսը: Միանշանակ` ոչ:
Մեր հետ տեղի ունեցած սարսափելի իրադարձությունների պայմաններում, ո՞րն է ելքը: Ճանապարհն առաջին հերթին անցնում է համարձակության, վճռականության ու դիմադրության միջով:
Այս ամենի թշնամին է վախկոտությունը, պառակտումը, փողն ու պաշտոնը կյանքի նպատակ հռչակելը, հիասթափությունը, հանձնվողականությունը, գաղափարներին ու ընկերներին դավաճանելը, դահիճների հետ գործ բռնելն ու ժողովրդի հետ պատահած դժբախտության հետ համակերպվելը:
Ուժ կգտնե՞նք վերածնվելու: Բացառապես կախված է մեզանից, որովհետև սա պայքար է հայի գոյությունը պաշտպանելու և ուժեղ պետություն կառուցելու համար:
Այս խորհրդանշական օրը առաջին հերթին պետք է հիշենք ու հարգանքի տուրք մատուցենք բոլոր այն անձանց, ովքեր պայքարեցին ու հաղթեցին:
