Գյումրիում ընտրարշավը գնալով թեժանում է, իսկ «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիրը»՝ օրեցօր կորցնում է ադեկվատությունը։ Գյումրիի քաղաքապետի պաշտոնակատար նշանակվելուց հետո ՔՊ-ին անդամակցած Սարիկ Մինասյանն արդեն ցայտնոտի մեջ է, հասցրել է խնդիրների բախվել, հասկանալ, որ իր հաղթանակն ամենևին էլ երաշխավորված չէ։
Երեկ լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցն էլ վերջնականապես հօդս է ցնդեցրել թե՛ նրա հեղինակության վերջին փշուրները, թե՛ հաղթելու շանսերը։ Հիշեցնենք, Մինասյանը հայտարարել էր, թե «Արցախը Փաշինյանը չի հանձնել, չենք կռվել։ Ես, դու չենք կռվել։ Բոլորս պիտի կռվեինք»։ Գյումրիում խոսում են, որ Մինասյանն անգամ մտածում է լքել ՔՊ-ն և հեռանալ, բայց կուսակցությունից զգուշացրել են, որ դա ծանր հետևանքներ կունենա իր համար։
Իշխանությունն էլ պատրաստվում է Գյումրիում պսևդո-ընդդիմադիր ուժերի ներգրավել, որպեսզի վերջիններս փոշիացնեն ընդդիմության ձայները: Այսօր Գյումրիում արևմտամետներն են հավաքվելու, «Հանրապետություն», «Հանուն հանրապետության» և Եվրոպական կուսակցությունները հուշագիր են ստորագրելու, իսկ նրանց թեկնածուն հայտնի սորոսական Լևոն Բարսեղյանն է լինելու։ Վերջինիս վրա ընդդիմադիր թեկնածուներին սևացնելու գործն է դրված։
