Քրեական ոստիկանության թմրամիջոցների անօրինական շրջանառության դեմ պայքարի վարչությունում օպերատիվ տեղեկություններ էին ստացվել, որ առանձնապես խոշոր չափերի տարբեր տեսակի թմրամիջոցներ, իրացնելու նպատակով, պետք է մաքսանենգ ճանապարհով Իրանից տեղափոխվեն Հայաստան:
Տեղեկությունները փոխանցվել են Քննչական կոմիտեի հատկապես կարևոր գործերով քննության գլխավոր վարչության մարդկանց թրաֆիքինգի, անչափահասների սեռական անձեռնմխելիության դեմ ուղղված և թմրամիջոցների ապօրինի շրջանառության հանցագործությունների քննության վարչություն: Քրեական օրենսգրքի 393-րդ և 399-րդ հոդվածների հատկանիշներով նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ:
Քրեական ոստիկանության գլխավոր վարչության ծառայողները, համագործակցելով Քննչական կոմիտեի աշխատակիցների հետ, իրականացրել են օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումներ։ Մայրաքաղաքում ձերբակալվել և նախաքննական մարմին է ներկայացվել Արարատի մարզի բնակիչ 25 և 42-ամյա երկու տղամարդ՝ վերջինիս կողմից շահագործվող «Մերսեդես» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայով հանդերձ։
Քրեական վարույթի շրջանակներում կատարված խուզարկությամբ «Մերսեդեսի» սրահում հայտնաբերվել է մարիխուանայի նմանվող շուրջ 1 կգ 224 գրամ զանգվածով փաթեթ։
Շարունակելով օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումները՝ Քրեական ոստիկանության ծառայողները Քննչական կոմիտեի գործընկերների հետ Եղվարդի խճուղում ձերբակալել են հինգ տղամարդու, որոնցից երկուսը՝ օտարերկրացի, և նրանցից մեկի «Օպել Աստրա» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայով հանդերձ՝ ներկայացրել նախաքննական մարմին։
Անձնական խուզարկությամբ Երևանի 38-ամյա բնակչի մոտ մեթամֆետամինի նմանվող զանգված է հայտնաբերվել։
Քրեական վարույթի շրջանակում կատարված խուզարկությամբ «Օպելի» սրահում հայտնաբերվել է մարիխուանայի նմանվող շուրջ 1 կգ 178 գրամ զանգված։
Նշանակվել են դատաքիմիական փորձաքննություններ։
Վեց անձ կալանավորվել և տեղափոխվել է քրեակատարողական հիմնարկ։
