Դեռևս անցած տարեվերջին «ՀայաՔվե» ազգային քաղաքացիական միավորումն իր խոր մտահոգությունն էր հայտնել Սիրիայի Արաբական Հանրապետությունում իշխանափոխությունից հետո ստեղծված իրավիճակով, մասնավորապես` Սիրիայի հայ համայնքի ճակատագրով։ Մենք պահանջել էինք ՀՀ Արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունից անհապաղ երկխոսություն սկսել Սիրիայի փաստացի իշխանությունների հետ՝ տեղի հայության անվտանգության երաշխիքներ ստանալու նպատակով, ինչպես նաև կազմակերպել Սիրիայի հայ համայնքի հայրենադարձությանն ուղղված անհապաղ գործողություններ։
Ցավոք, մեր կանխատեսած վատթարագույն զարգացումներն այս օրերին իրականություն են դառնում։ Սիրիայի ափամերձ շրջաններում նոր իշխանությունների սկսած բռնաճնշումները հանգեցրել են տեղի ալևի և քրիստոնյա բնակչության բողոքներին, ինչին հետևել են գործող թուրքամետ իշխանության կողմնակից զինված խմբավորումների կողմից իրականացվող` խաղաղ բնակչության զանգվածային սպանությունները և խոշտանգումները: Ի թիվս այլոց` սպանվել են նաև Սիրիայի հայազգի քաղաքացիներ, և բռնությունների ալիքը կարող է արագորեն տարածվել նաև այլ հայաշատ շրջաններում։
Այս պայմաններում մենք վերահաստատում ենք մեր պահանջը ՀՀ Արտաքին գործերի նախարարությանը՝ անհապաղ գործողություններ ձեռնարկել Սիրիայի փաստացի իշխանություններից հայազգի բնակչության անվտանգության երաշխիքներ ստանալու և նրանց հայրենադարձությունը կազմակերպելու նպատակով։ Նաև, հաշվի առնելով Սիրիայում ստեղծված ողբերգական իրավիճակը, պահանջում ենք Հայաստանի Հանրապետության այլ արտաքին գործընկերների հետ համատեղ անհապահ քայլեր նախաձեռնել՝ հրավիրելու ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտագության խորհրդի նիստ` Սիրիայում ստեղծված կացությունը քննարկելու և բռնության դադարեցմանն ուղղված գործուն միջոցներ ձեռնարկելու նպատակով։
