ԱՄՆ-ում շատ լավ հասկանում են, որ Ադրբեջանի հնարավոր ագրեսիան տարածաշրջանում կարող է խառնել որոշ խաղաքարտեր։  Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է միջազգայնագետ Սուրեն Սարգսյանը:

«Թրամփի՝ Մերձավոր Արևելքի և Ուկրաինայի հարցերով խորհրդական Ուիտկոֆի անսպասելի «վայրէջքը» Բաքվում, ինչպես նաև անվտանգության հարցերով խորհրդականի վերջին գրառումը, կարծում եմ, հետևյալի մասին են.

1. Թրամփն այժմ կենտրոնացած է Ուկրաինայի պատերազմը կանգնեցնելու վրա։

2. Թրամփն այժմ կենտրոնացած է Իրանի հետ հնարավոր բանակցություններ սկսելու կամ այլ կերպ Իրանի նկատմամբ ճնշում գործադրելու վրա։

Ցանկացած այլ ֆոնային գործընթաց, որը կարող է խանգարել այս հիմնական առաջնահերթություններին, Թրամփին պետք չէ։ ԱՄՆ-ում շատ լավ հասկանում են, որ Ադրբեջանի հնարավոր ագրեսիան տարածաշրջանում կարող է խառնել որոշ խաղաքարտեր։

Հետևաբար, անհրաժեշտ է Ադրբեջանին (Թուրքիային) զերծ պահել արկածախնդրությունից և թույլ չտալ լարվածություն Հարավային Կովկասում։ Մանավանդ որ Թուրքիային անհրաժեշտ է նստել գլոբալ բանակցային սեղանի շուրջ՝ ունենալով իր խաղաքարտերը։ Ի դեպ, ռուս-ադրբեջանական լարվածությունը հենց Թուրքիայի կողմից է հրահրվում՝ նույն նպատակով։

Ինչ վերաբերում է Թրամփի թիմի ուղերձներին, որոնք վերաբերում են Հայաստանին, ապա այս հարցում հայ համայնքի, լոբբիստների և իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպությունների աշխատանքը ևս նկատելի է։ Չմոռանանք, որ Թրամփի մերձավոր շրջապատում շատ են մարդիկ, ովքեր ոչ միայն գիտեն Հայաստանի տեղը, այլև լավ կապեր ունեն համայնքի հետ և լավ են պատկերացնում Հայաստանի խնդիրները։

Այժմ Թրամփին անհրաժեշտ չէ Ռուսաստանի դեմ նոր լարվածություն ձևավորել. ընդհակառակը, նրան պետք է Ռուսաստանի աջակցությունը՝ ինչպես արտաքին, այնպես էլ ներքաղաքական խնդիրները լուծելու համար։ Դրա համար էլ այս պահին նա շահագրգռված չէ Ռուսաստանի դեմ նոր «ֆրոնտեր» բացելու մեջ»,-գրել  է նա։
