Գյումրիում այսօր ավարտվում է քարոզարշավը, իսկ վաղն արդեն «լռության օր» է հայտարարված, երբ նախընտրական քարոզչությունն արգելված է։ Մարտի 30-ին գյումրեցիները նոր քաղաքապետ ու ավագանի կընտրեն։ Իշխող «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիրը» հայտնվել է ծանր վիճակում, ներքին օգտագործման համար արված հարցումները վկայում են, որ Սարիկ Մինասյանը գործնականում քաղաքապետ դառնալու որևէ հույս չունի, ընտրարշավ նետված մանր կուսակցությունները չեն անցնելու ավագանի։

Վերջին մեկ ամսվա ընթացքում հատուկ ծառայությունները ՔՊ պատվերով ամենշաբաթյա ռեժիմով մի քանի հարցումներ են արել։ Ըստ ՔՊ մեր աղբյուրի, «Քաղպայմանագրի» ու Սարիկ Մինասյանի վարկանիշը գնալով նվազել է, իսկ արմատական ընդդիմադիր կուսակցություններինը՝ աճել։ Թեպետ, դեռ Սարիկն առաջատար է՝ հաշվի առնելով վարչական ռեսուրսը, իրավապահների ճնշումներն ու կրիմինալի աջակցությունը, բայց դա բավարար չէ։ Լավագույն դեպքում հաջողվի 20-22 տոկոս քվե ստանալ Գյումրիում։

Նման պայմաններում իշխանությունը չի բացառում ընդհուպ Գյումրիի նախկին քաղաքապետ, տխրահռչակ Վարդան Ղուկասյանի հետ համագործակցությունը, կոալիցիայի ստեղծումը։ Պայմանն այն է լինելու, Վարդան Ղուկասյանին զիջեն քաղաքապետի աթոռը, իսկ վերջինս հրապարակայնորեն հավատարմության երդում տա Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին։ Զուր չէ, որ Վարդան Ղուկասյանն իր վերջին օրերի ելույթներում բավական լավ է խոսում Սարիկ Մինասյանի հասցեին, ով երեկ խայտառակվեց Հանրայինի մեծ բանավեճին։
