Ցուցարարների դեմ կիրառված ոչ իրավաչափ ուժ, լրագրողների դեմ ճնշումներ և հետապնդումներ, ընդդիմության ակտիվիստների ձերբակալություններ, քաղաքական գործիչների դատեր, սեռական և գենդերային բռնություն, բնապահպանների հետապնդումներ, փախստականների և միգրանտների իրավունքների խախտումներ։ «Ժողովրդավարության բաստիոնում» անցած մեկ տարում սրանք էին հիմնական խախտումները, ըստ աշխարհի ամենահեղինակավոր իրավապաշտպան կառույցներից մեկի՝ Amnesty International-ի հերթական զեկույցի։

Իրավապաշտպան կառույցն արձանագրել է Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունների խայտառակ պահվածքը՝ փաստացի հերթական ապտակը հասցնելով «ժողովրդավարության» մասին ճամարտակող Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին ու իր թիմին։ Կազմակերպությունը հիշատակել է վարչապետի հրաժարականի պահանջով ապրիլին և մայիսին տեղի ունեցած ցույցերի ժամանակ ոստիկանության կողմից անօրինական ուժ կիրառելու մի քանի դեպքերը։ Նշվում է, որ ցույցերն ուղեկցվել են լրագրողների դեմ ճնշումների և հետապնդումների, այդ թվում՝ նրանց ուղղված վիրավորանքի և սպառնալիքների դեպքերի աճով։

Կառավարությունը շարունակել է դժվարություններ ունենալ ավելի քան 100,000 փախստականների ինտեգրման հարցում, որոնք 2023 թվականի սեպտեմբերին Ադրբեջանի կողմից Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի նկատմամբ վերահսկողություն հաստատելուց հետո ապաստան են գտել Հայաստանում։ Բնակարանային, զբաղվածության և կրթության հարցերը հատկապես դժվար են շատ փախստականների համար։ Նրանց անվտանգ և արժանապատիվ վերադարձի իրավունքը մնում է չիրականացված։

Ծավալուն այս զեկույցը ևս մեկ փաստ է, որ ժողովրդավարության ու մարդու իրավունքների մասին իշխանության խոսքերը ոչ այլ ինչ են, քան մանիպուլյացիա և կեղծիք, իսկ մերօրյա Հայաստանը ժողովրդավար լինել չի կարող։ Մնում է մեկ հարց՝ ինչու է Արևմուտքը պարբերաբար ապտակներ հասցնում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, ակնարկում, որ չի հավատում նրա հավաստիացումներին։
