21-րդ դարում՝ աշխարհի աչքի առաջ ու լուռ համաձայնությամբ Իսրայելը ցեղասպանում է Գազայի բնակիչներին։ Հրթիռները չեն դադարում Գազայի հատվածում, զոհվել են հազարավոր խաղաղ բնակիչներ, կանայք ու անօգնական ծերեր։ Գազայում հումանիտար ճգնաժամի պատճառով հարյուրավոր մարդիկ մահացել են սովից։ 11-շաբաթյա շրջափակումից հետո Իսրայելը թույլատրել է հումանիտար աջակցության համար բացել Գազա տանող ճանապարհը։

Դրան զուգահեռ, Նեթանյահուն անթաքույց իրականացնում է այն խոստումը, որ իր երկիրը կգրավի Գազայի հատվածը։ «Ցահալ»-ի զինված ծառայողները մտնում են պաղեստինցիների բնակարաններ, սպանում կամ մորթում են խաղաղ բնակիչներին։ Դա է պատճառը, որ պաղեստինցիները ոտքով կամ ավանակներով են լքում իրենց տները և շարժվում դեպի Գազայի արևմուտք, այնտեղ համեմատաբար ավելի հանգիստ է։ Արցախցի նկարիչ, սոցակտիվիստ Նարինե Կարապետյանը Գազայի ու Արցախի դեպքերով զուգահեռներ է տանում։ Սցենարը նույնն է․ շրջափակում, ահաբեկչական գործողություններ, սպանություններ, պատերազմ, գաղթ․․․ միայն թե իրադարձություններն են տարբեր։  

«Գազայի շարունակվող ոճրագործությունը սահմռկեցուցիչ է ու, կարծես, դրա ֆոնին աննկատ ու անձայն են մնում մարդկության դեմ կատարված այսպես ասած ավելի «փոքր» հանցագործությունները։ Եվ գուցե աշխարհի տերերին պետք կլինի կազմակերպել ավելի «մեծ գազաներ», որ ուղղակի մոռացվեն ու անպատժելի մնան անցյալի «փոքր գազաները»,- ասում է Նարինեն՝ նկատի առնելով Արցախում տեղի ունեցած էթնիկ զտման դեպքերը, որոնք մնացել են միայն այդ ամենը վերապրածների հիշողության մեջ։

Մնացյալ ամեն ինչ ջնջվում ու մոռացության է տրվում պատմությունից։ «Պարզ հաշվարկ, ուրիշ ոչինչ. Ո՛չ խիղճ, ո՛չ խղճմտանք, ո՛չ մի գութ»,- հավելեց նա։
