Որքան ընդդիմությունն ակտիվացնի իշխանության դեմ պայքարը, այնքան Փաշինյանը շարունակելու է նոր ռեպրեսիաներ ու բռնաճնշումներ իրականացնել և դրա համար գործի է դրել բոլոր միջոցները։ Նախօրեին Կաթողիկե Սուրբ Էջմիածնի տոնի առթիվ Զվարթնոցի տաճարից մինչև Մայր Աթոռ բազմահազարանոց երթ էր տեղի ունեցել, որին մասնակցել էին ընդդիմության ներկայացուցիչները՝ ի պաշտպանություն ռուսաստանցի գործարար, բարերար Սամվել Կարապետյանի, ով այսօր կալանավորված է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի քմահաճույքով։ Կարապետյանի միակ «մեղքն» այն էր, որ նա համարձակվել էր աջակցել Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցուն։

Արդեն Էջմիածնում Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Փաշինյանի և նրա թիմի գործողությունը գնահատել էր որպես իշխանությունների կողմից սանձազերծված հակաեկեղեցական արշավ։ «Եղել են ժամանակներ, երբ տարբեր ուժեր ձգտել են սահմանափակել մեր եկեղեցու առաքելությունը և ենթարկեցնել իրենց շահերին: Այդ ճանապարհը ցավալիորեն կործանարար բաժանումներ է բերել մեր ազգային կյանքում: Այսօր էլ նման տագնապալի օրեր ենք ապրում: Մեր երկրի բազմաթիվ հիմնախնդիրների առջև միավորման ջանքերի փոխարեն շարունակվում են հասարակությանը պառակտելու ցավալի գործողությունները»,-նշել էր Գարեգին Բ-ն, իսկ Սամվել Կարապետյանի ձերբակալությունը անօրինական հետապնդում էր անվանել։

Երթը, մեր տեղեկություններով ցնցումներ է առաջացրել իշխանական համակարգում, Փաշինյանը հանձնարարել է ավելի ակտիվացնել ընդդիմադիր գործիչների դեմ ռեպրեսիաները, և առաջիկա օրերին իրավապահ համակարգը նոր հարձակումներ է սկսելու։ Միևնույն ժամանակ իշխանությունը շարունակում է նաև ապօրինի գործողությունները Հայաստանի էլեկտրական ցանցերի դեմ, Տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների նախարարը հայտարարել է, թե առաջիկայում կհրապարակվի ՀԷՑ-ը պետականացնելու կոնկրետ ծրագիրը։ Դավիթ Ղուդաթյանը, սակայն, ոչ ժամկետներն է հստակեցնում, ոչ հայտնում, թե որ կառույցն է զբաղվում այդ հարցով և ինչպես է Կարապետյանին պատկանող ընկերությունն անցնելու կառավարությանը, բայց խոստանում է, որ այդ հարցում հետքայլ չեն անելու։ Ընդհանրապես, փաշինյանական իշխանությունն իր գոյության ողջ ընթացքում բազմաթիվ ապօրինություններ է արել, որոնք, նշենք, եթե ոչ այսօր, ապա ապագայում, «ծանր հետևանքներ են ունենալու Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար»։ Հայաստանի էլեկտրական Ցանցերի պետականացման փորձն այդ դրվագներից մեկն է դառնալու։
