Հայաստանի վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնող Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի՝ վերջերս Թուրքիա կատարած այցելությունը առանձնակի օգուտներ վերջինիս չի տվել։ Մեր տեղեկություններով, Փաշինյանն Էրդողանին թախանձագին խնդրել է, որպեսզի միջնորդի խաղաղության պայմանագրի ստորագրման հարցում, բողոքել, որ, ըստ էության, ամեն ինչ անում է դրա համար։ Նույնիսկ Հայաստանում վտանգում սեփական վարկանիշը, ընդդիմության և հանրության բերանը լեզու դնում, բայց Ալիևը համառորեն խաղաղության պայմանագիր չի ստորագրում։

Ինչպես և ժամանակին Ալիևը, այս անգամ էլ Թուրքիայի նախագահը նրան պարզորոշ ասել է, որ խաղաղության պայմանագիրը չի ստորագրվում, որովհետև վստահ չեն, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը քաղաքական ապագա ունի, կարող է հաղթել 2026 թվականի խորհրդարանական ընտրություններում։ Ուղղակի, հասկացրել են, որ չեն հավատում Փաշինյանի ներքին աջակցությանը և կարող է պարտվել, իսկ ով էլ գա, չեզոքացնելու է ստորագրված պայմանագիրը։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին պարզ ասել են՝ կամ պետք է երաշխիքներ տա, որ հենց ինքն է ընտրվելու նոր ընտրություններում, կամ էլ, եթե չի կարող երաշխիքներ տալ, ապա այդ պայմանագիրը չի ստորագրվի, որպեսզի հետագայում էլ թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմը չմնա իր ստորագրած թղթի պարտավորությունների տակ։

Թուրքական կողմից Փաշինյանին հասկացրել են, տեղեկություններ ունեն Հայաստանում ներքաղաքական իրավիճակի սրման կապակցությամբ, կասկածում են, որ նա վերահսկում է իրավիճակը։ Դրանով էր պայմանավորված, որ մինչ Փաշինյանը Ստամբուլում փորձում էր համաձայնության գալ Թուրքիայի նախագահի հետ, Հայաստանում ոստիկանությունն իսկական արշավ սկսեց ընդդիմության դեմ՝ մի քանի տասնյակ մարդկանց բռնի կերպով բերման ենթարկելով։ Այդ կերպը Փաշինյանը փորձում էր Էրդողանին համոզել, որ տիրապետում է իրավիճակին և ոչ ոք չի կարող թփրտալ։
