Մինչ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը պատրաստվում է գրոհել Վեհարանը և հեռացնել Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսին, Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու շուրջ շարքերն ավելի են բյուրեղանում և ընդլայնվում։ ԱՄՆ Միջազգային հանրապետական ինստիտուտը հունիսի վերջին հեռախոսային հարցում է իրականացրել, որի ցուցանիշները շոկային կարող է լինել իշխանության ներկայացուցիչների համար։ Փաշինյանը փորձում է հասարակությանը մղել եկեղեցու դեմ, կուսակրոնության և այլ հարցերով վարկաբեկել եկեղեցականներին, բայց փոխարենը ստացել է եկեղեցու երբևէ ունեցած ամենաբարձր աջակցության մակարդակը։

Ըստ ՄՀԻ-ի՝ հարցվածների 58 տոկոսն իր գոհունակությունն է հայտնել եկեղեցու աշխատանքի նկատմամբ, դժգոհություն՝ միայն 35 տոկոսը, և այն էլ ընդհանրապես դժգոհները միայն 24 տոկոս են։ Նախորդ տարվա հարցման համեմատությամբ եկեղեցու նկատմամբ վստահությունը 10 տոկոսով աճել է, փոխարենը շոշափելի նվազել է «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագրի» նկատմամբ վստահությունը։ Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու վարկանիշն ամենաբարձրն է 18-35 տարեկան հայաստանցիների շրջանում (ավելի քան 70 տոկոս), ինչը վկայում է, որ հասարակության առավել ակտիվ և գործունյա շերտը կանգնած է Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու կողքին։

Փաշինյանը մտմտում է բողոքի գործողություններ սկսել Էջմիածնում ընդհուպ գրոհով վերցնել Վեհարանը, նրա այս գործողությունը կարող է դառնալ իր իսկ պաշտոնանկության սկիզբը, հասարակությունը որևէ կերպ կողմ չէ Փաշինյանի կատարած արարքներին և դա անգամ փաստում են Փաշինյանի ամերիկյան գործընկերները։
