Ամերիկյան միջազգային հանրապետական ինստիտուտի վերջին հարցումները չափազանց ուշագրավ մի տենդենց են արձանագրում։ Մասնավորապես, հարցերից մեկը վերաբերում էր Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի միջև հարաբերությունների ներկայիս վիճակին։ 2025 թվականի հունիսին հարցվածների 55 տոկոսը վատ է գնահատել հարաբերությունների ներկայիս վիճակը, դրական՝ միայն 43 տոկոսը։ Առաջին հայացքից այս զարգացումը կարող է տարօրինակ թվալ, բայց հաշվի առնելով նախորդ հարցումների հետ, չէ՛,  բավականին ուշագրավ պատկեր ենք ստանում։

Մասնավորապես, 2018 թվականի օգոստոսին հարցվածների 87 տոկոսն է դրական գնահատել հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների վիճակը։ Արդեն 2021 թվականի մայիսին, 44-օրյա պատերազմից հետո 70 տոկոսը դրական է գնահատել։ 2023 թվականի մարտից սկսած տենդենցը սկսել է նվազել։ Ընդ որում, դա այն փուլն էր, երբ Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները բավականին լուրջ հակաքարոզչություն էին իրականացնում Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ։ 2023 թվականի դեկտեմբերին հարցվածների 66 տոկոսը բացասական է գնահատել հայ ռուսական հարաբերությունների վիճակը։ 2024 թվականի սեպտեմբերին այդ ցուցանիշը եղել է 64 տոկոս։ Փաստացի, մի քանի ամիսների ընթացքում 9 տոկոսով հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների ներկայիս ընթացքը բացասական գնահատողների թիվը նվազել է, ինչը որոշակիորեն ապացուցում է, որ Ռուսաստանի փափուկ ուժի և ճիշտ քաղաքականության դեպքում հնարավոր է կրկին իրավիճակը բեկել դեպի դրական ուղղությամբ։

Առավել ևս, հաշվի առնելով, որ Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները չափազանց լուրջ հակաքարոզչություն են տանում հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների դեմ, իրենց լրատվամիջոցներով, հարակից էքսպերտներով և արևմտամետներով փորձում սեպ խրել Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի միջև, իշխանություններն էլ պարբերաբար հանդես են գալիս Ռուսաստանի դեմ հայտարարություններով, պետք է որ այս վերջին ցուցանիշները բավականին ոգևորող լինեն այն քաղաքական ուժերի համար, որոնք հանդես են գալիս Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի հարաբերությունների կարգավորման օգտին։
