Երեկ Հայաստանի փոխվարչապետ Մհեր Գրիգորյանի և Ադրբեջանի փոխվարչապետ Շահին Մուստաֆաևի ղեկավարությամբ կայացել են երկու պետությունների պատվիրակությունների փոխադարձ այցելություններ Հայաստանի տարածք և Ադրբեջանի տարածք: Պաշտոնական Բաքուն և Երևանը նույնաբովանդակ հաղորդագրություններ են տարածել՝ նշելով. «Օգոստոսի 8-ին Վաշինգտոնում ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունների համաձայն՝ կողմերը քննարկել են սահմանագծի համապատասխան հատվածների/հատվածամասերի սահմանազատման և ականազերծման, ինչպես նաև անհրաժեշտ ենթակառուցվածքների վերականգնման ու կառուցման և դրանց իրականացման ժամկետների հետ կապված հարցեր՝ հաղորդակցությունների ստեղծման ոլորտում գործողությունների սինխրոնիզացման նպատակով»։

Կողմերը չեն հաղորդում, թե ո՞ւր են գնացել հայ և ադրբեջանցի պաշտոնյաները, ո՞ւմ են հանդիպել, փոխվարչապետերից բացի էլ ովքե՞ր են եղել պատվիրակությունների կազմում։ «Պատվիրակությունների ղեկավարները մտքեր են փոխանակել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության միջև պետական սահմանի սահմանազատման և սահմանային անվտանգության հարցերով հանձնաժողովի և Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության և Հայաստանի Հանրապետության միջև պետական սահմանի սահմանազատման պետական հանձնաժողովի հաջորդ հանդիպման կազմակերպման շուրջ», - ասվում է հաղորդագրություններում։

Օգոստոսի վերջին Փաշինյանը հայտարարել էր, որ Վաշինգտոնում ամրագրված պայմանավորվածությունների շուրջ քննարկումները կսկսեն սեպտեմբերից թե՛ ամերիկյան, թե՛ ադրբեջանական կողմերի հետ: Նախօրեին էլ հայտնի է դարձել, որ հաջորդ շաբաթ Ամերիկայից Հայաստան են ժամանելու տարբեր շրջանակների ներկայացուցիչներ, որոնք այստեղ փակ քննարկումներ են ունենալու։ Այցի օրակարգը վերաբերում է այն ծրագրին, որը հրապարակային դաշտում հայտնի է որպես «Թրամփի միջանցք»։ Ամերիկացի հյուրերը քննարկելու են ոչ միայն միջանցքի տեխնիկական ու քաղաքական մանրամասները, այլև ներդրումների ծավալը, առաջնահերթությունները, ինչպես նաև շինաշխատանքների մեկնարկի ժամկետները։

Փաստացի, Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը ակտիվացնում են պայմանավորվածությունների կատարումը՝ հընթացս էլ վատացնելով հարաբերությունները Ռուսաստանի և Իրանի հետ։ Չնայած այդ տերություններից հնչող դժգոհություններին և սպառնալիքներին՝ Բաքուն ու Երևանը, թերևս, ոչնչի առջև կանգ չեն առնելու։
