Երեկ Դանիայի մայրաքաղաք Կոպենհագենում տեղի է ունեցել Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հանդիպումը։ Մեղմ ասած՝ տեսարանը, որի տեսանյութը տարածել էր Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի աշխատակազմը, գարշելի էր։ Նույնիսկ անաչառ դիտորդի մոտ տպավորություն է ստեղծվում, որ Փաշինյանը ուշիմ աշակերտի պես նստել է չռված Ալիևի դիմաց և խելոք լսում է նրա բոլոր հանձնարարականները։ Վաղուց այլևս զարմանալի չէ, որ Ադրբեջանի հետ հարաբերություններում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն իրեն պահում է խեղճացած երեխայի կամ խամաճիկի պես․ ժպտում է անհեթեթ և որևէ կերպ հայկական շահերն առաջ մղել չի պատրաստվում։

Կոպենհագենում կայացած հանդիպմանը, ըստ պաշտոնական հաղորդագրության, կողմերն ընդգծել են վաշինգտոնյան պայմանավորվածությունների նշանակալիությունը, վերահաստատել պատրաստակամությունը շարունակելու աշխատանքը Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության հետագա ամրապնդման ուղղությամբ։ «Հայաստանի վարչապետը և Ադրբեջանի նախագահը կարևորել են տարածաշրջանում տրանսպորտային հաղորդակցությունների օգուտները, քննարկել են Ադրբեջանի տարածքում ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացման և Հայաստանի տարածքում TRIPP նախագծի իրականացման առաջընթացը, մտքեր են փոխանակել Վաշինգտոնի հռչակագրի իրագործման շուրջ»,– ասվում է հաղորդագրության մեջ։

Իշխանական քարոզչամեքենան փորձում է այս հանդիպումը ևս մեկ դիվանագիտական ձեռքբերում ներկայացնել, մինչդեռ իրականում ակնհայտ է, որ սուրճի սեղանի մոտ ընդամենը մի քանի րոպե մտքեր են փոխանակել։ Ավելի ճիշտ՝ Ալիևը խոսել է, Փաշինյանը լսել, և ընդամենը այսքանը։ Որևէ նշանակալի իրադարձություն կամ պայմանավորվածություն այս հանդիպումից սպասել չարժե։ Ավելին, Ադրբեջանից առայժմ որևէ հստակ պայմանավորվածության կատարում նույնպես սպասել պետք չէ․ այդ երկիրը շարունակում է առաջ մղել իր նախապայմանները և որևէ կերպ չի թուլացրել ռազմատենչ հռետորաբանությունը։
