Առավոտը բացվեց զարմանահրաշ մի հայտարարությամբ։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը «ավետեց», թե «Քաղաքացիական պայմանագիր» կուսակցությունը վարչության որոշմամբ կուսակցության էթիկայի կանոնագիրք է ընդունել, որտեղ ստանդարտներ են սահմանել իրենք իրենց համար՝ հայտարարելով հայհոյախոսության, անձնական թիրախավորման, վիրավորանքի դաշտից դուրս դնելու, ինչպես նաև բարեվարքության լավագույն ստանդարտներին իրենց նվիրվածության մասին։
«Այնպես որ, երբ հայհոյանքին հայհոյանքով, վիրավորանքին վիրավորանքով չպատասխանենք, խնդրում ենք դա չընկալել որպես թուլություն կամ վախվորածություն, այլ նվիրվածություն մեր իսկ ընդունած էթիկայի կանոնագրքին»,- գրել է Փաշինյանն ու հավելել. «Մեր հանրային քաղաքական կյանքը գնալով պետք է ավելի ու ավելի փաստահենք դառնա, ավելի ու ավելի փաստարկահենք, հիմնված փոխադարձ հարգանքի, բարեկրթության, թափանցիկության ու հաշվետվողականության վրա»։ Կարելի էր, իհարկե, սա գնահատել որպես իշխող ուժի բարեվարքության և ապաշխարանքի դրսևորում, բայց փաստն այն է, որ Փաշինյանի կողմնակիցները ամենևին էլ չեն հետևելու իրենց իսկ ընդունած կանոնագրքին։
Ավելին, սոցիալական ցանցերում գործող իշխանությունների կողմնակիցները, հատկապես ֆեյքերի տեսքով, շարունակում են ատելություն սերմանել հանրության տարբեր խմբերի նկատմամբ, հայհոյանքներ տալ հնարավոր բոլոր ընդդիմախոսների հասցեին։ Եվ եթե X-քպականն իր դեմքով այլևս հայհոյանքներ չի գրելու, ապա ոչինչ չի խանգարում նրան մի քանի ֆեյք բացել և նույն այդ հայհոյանքները ավելի շատ տիրաժավորել։ Կանոնակարգի ընդունումն ավելի շատ ուղղված է ընդդիմությանը, որպեսզի հետո ընդդիմությունից հնչող պատասխաններին կամ էլ հնարավոր վիրավորանքներին արձագանքեն, թե իբր ՔՊ-ն բարեվարք է, ընդդիմությունը՝ ոչ, մինչդեռ Հայաստանում ատելությունը, հայհոյախոսությունը ահռելի այնպիսի ծավալների է հասել, որ այլևս դուրս է որևէ տրամաբանությունից, իսկ դրա միակ մեղավորը հենց գործող իշխանությունն է։
