Նիկոլաս Մադուրոյի առևանգումը չի համապատասխանում ո՛չ Վրաստանի, ո՛չ էլ ընդհանուր առմամբ, Հարավային Կովկասի շահերին, գրում է վրացի քաղաքագետ Արչիլ Սիխարուլիձեն։
«Նույն նախադեպը չափազանց անբարենպաստ է Հայաստանի համար, որն արդեն իսկ գտնվում է ռազմավարական փակուղու մեջ, քանի որ, ըստ այդ տրամաբանության, Թուրքիան և Ադրբեջանը կարող են փորձել ուժով լուծել հայկական հարցը, և պարզապես ոչ ոք չի լինի նրանց կանգնեցնելու համար»,- նշում է փորձագետը։
Սիխարուլիձեն հավելել է, որ այնպիսի պետություններ, ինչպիսիք են Վրաստանը, Հայաստանը, Վենեսուելան և Կուբան, ելնում են այն նրանից, որ ո՛չ Միացյալ Նահանգները, ո՛չ անցյալում Խորհրդային Միությունը, ո՛չ էլ ժամանակակից Ռուսաստանը, Չինաստանը կամ Հնդկաստանը չեն կարող միայնակ որոշել մեկ այլ պետության ճակատագիրը։
«Դրա համար պահանջում էր լեգիտիմացում՝ Եվրոպայից, այլ հիմնական խաղացողներից կամ ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդից։ Տվյալ դեպքում գործողությունն իրականացվել է միակողմանիորեն. գերտերությունը հայտարարել է իր իրավունքի մասին՝ որոշելու մեկ այլ պետության ճակատագիրը՝ առանց որևէ մեկի հետ խորհրդակցելու։
Ավելին, առաջին անգամ ինքնիշխան պետության ղեկավարը փաստացի առևանգվել և հանձնվել է ոչ թե Հաագային կամ միջազգային դատարան, այլ մեկ այլ երկրի՝ իր ազգային օրենսդրությամբ դատվելու համար։ Դա վտանգավոր նախադեպ է ստեղծում և տրամաբանական հարց առաջացնում. ի՞նչն է խանգարում նույնն անել մյուս պետություններին»,- գրել է փորձագետը։
