«Հայաստանը շատ հիասքանչ երկիր է, որի հետ համագործակցությամբ ԱՄՆ-ն շատ հպարտանում է։ Նախագահ Թրամփը ուղարկում է անձամբ Ձեզ և նաև Հայաստանի ժողովրդին իր անձնական բարևները»,- այս մասին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հետ հանիդպումից հետո հայտարարեց ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահ Ջեյ Դի Վենսը՝ հավելելով․
«Խաղաղությունը չի կերտվում զգույշ մարդկանց կողմից, խաղաղությունն անցյալում չի կերտվում, խաղաղությունը կերտվում է ապագայում և, քանի որ վարչապետը այսպիսի մեծ առաջընթաց է ունեցել իմ հետ աշխատելով և նախագահի հետ աշխատել աշխատելով, մենք ոչ միայն խաղաղություն ենք Հայաստանի համար կերտում միասին, այլ նաև բարգավաճում ԱՄՆ-ի հետ միասին։ Այսօր մենք ուզում ենք հայտարարել այնպիսի բաներ, որոնք որ առանց ձեր առաջատարության, առանց ձեր հանձնարարությունների հնարավոր չէր լինի, ինչպես նաև առանց մեր երկրի նախագահի առաջատարության։ Հավատացած եմ, որ այսօր մի նոր սկիզբ է Հայաստանի և Միացյալ Նահանգների գործակցության, գործընկերության համար»։
Նա հայտնեց, որ ստորագրվել է տեխնիկական համաձայնագիր, որը նոր շուկա և աշխատատեղ կբացի։
« Նոր շուկաներ, նոր աշխատանք, ինչպես ամերիկյան աշխատուժի և ընկերությունների համար, այլ նաև Հայաստանի։ Սա չիպեր են, որ աշխարհի երկրների մեծ մասում չկան, գոյություն չունեն, չեն էլ կարող լինել։ Հիմա այստեղ կառուցվելու են և արդեն կառուցվում են։ Սկզբնական 5 միլիարդ դոլար ներդրումների մասին է գնում խոսքը, 2-րդ փուլում՝ ևս 4 միլիարդ։ Եվ Հայաստանի, և ԱՄՆ-ի համար փոխշահավետ գործարք է՝ էներգետիկ կայունության տեսակետից։ Ամերիկյան փոքր մոդուլային տեխնոլոգիաները գալու են այս երկիր»,- ասաց նա։
