Financial Literacy Course at YSU: Idram and IDBank
IDBank and Idram continue to promote financial literacy among children, students, and adults as part of their social responsibility programs.
This time, IDBank and Idram conducted a three-day course for students of the Faculty of Economics and Management at Yerevan State University, presenting the fundamentals of financial thinking.
Around 150 students participated in the three-day sessions. Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of Communications and Social Responsibility Programs Department at IDBank and Idram, and Hayk Muradyan, Head of Corporate Business Processes and Team Development, presented key principles of financial literacy, main methods of fraud prevention, and the field of behavioral economics through both theoretical and practical examples and materials.
According to Tatevik Vardevanyan, the first experience of conducting a financial literacy course at the university was more than successful: “We are pleased to have had the opportunity to spend three days with first-year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management at YSU and to see their strong interest and enthusiasm for the topic. We can confidently state that this is our first, but not the last, collaboration both with the YSU and with other universities,” noted Tatevik Vardevanyan.
“The Faculty of Economics and Management at Yerevan State University places great importance on providing students with practical skills in the educational process, and in this context, we also consider strengthening our ties with the business sector a priority. We also highly value our stable and long-term cooperation with IDBank,” noted the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management at YSU, Karlen Khachatryan.
IDBank and Idram emphasize the importance of educational initiatives and continue to carry out campaigns aimed at building a financially literate society.
The campaign “Financially Literate with Idram and IDBank” continues.
