«Այսօր առավել քան ակնհայտ է, որ թույլ ու ոչ պրոֆեսիոնալ դիվանագիտության հետևանքով մեր երկիրը կարող է հայտնվել աշխարհքաղաքական բախման կիզակետում։ Ակնհայտ է, որ գերտերությունների դեմ խարդավանքներով տարածաշրջանում մեզ անվտանգ չենք զգա, մեզ պետք են բարեկամներ, ոչ թե նոր թշնամիներ, մեզ պետք են գործընկերներ, ոչ թե արհեստական հակառակորդներ, մեզ պետք է այնպիսի արտաքին քաղաքականություն, որ կարողանա խոսել ուժային բոլոր կենտրոնների, բոլոր մայրաքաղաքների հետ արժանապատվորեն, խելացի, պրոֆեսիանալ, միայն Հայաստանի շահերից ելնելով»,-ասաց «Ուժեղ Հայաստան» կուսակցության խորհրդի անդամ, փաստաբան Արամ Վարդևանյանը՝ ելույթ ունենալով Ազատության հրապարակում ընթացող հանրահավաքում։

Նա ընդգծեց՝ իրենց երազած Հայաստանը վախեցած, նվաստացած, բաժանված Հայաստան չէ, աշխարհքաղաքական խաղերի մեջ մոլորված Հայաստան չէ։

Անդրադառնալով Սամվել Կարապետյանի դեմ հարուցված գործին, նրան 10 ամիս անազատության մեջ պահելուն՝ Ա. Վարդևանյանը նշեց, որ այս գործը փաստեց՝ Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարությունը քայքայված է, միջազգային ճանաչում ունեցող իրավաբանները, գործի մասին լսելով, մանրամասներին տեղեկանալով, ապշելու աստիճան զարմացել են։

«Սա խայտառակություն է, ամբողջ աշխարհն է տեսել, որ հայ ազգի հպարտություն հանդիսացող, ազգային բարերար մարդուն կարելի է նման կերպ կալանավորել»,-ասաց Վարդևանյանը, ինչին հետևեցին «ամոթ, ամոթ» վանկարկումները։

Վարդևանյանն ընդգծեց՝ այն, ինչ ունի սկիզբ, ունի նաև վերջ. «Մի վայրկյան չկասկածեք, արդարությունը հաստատ հաղթելու է»։
